When I was in the process of moving into my school housing, my family and I went out driving around the general area. We got caught in a sudden storm while we were outside and the lightning was close. We felt the vibration and smelled the burning air smell.

I love lightening, thinder, and rain. I just dont like being cold or that nasty itchy feeling if you've been out in the rain and now your jeans are slowly drying while you wear them, or rain on my glasses (I usually try to stick them in a pocket or under the hem of my shirt.)
The power going out can be annoying but it doesn't happen too often and I have a two hour battery on my laptop. So I'll just color or something till it's time for sleep then set the alarm on my cell phone. Plus I think it's kinda cool when all the lights in the neighborhood go out and all the neighbors suddenly come outside to confer with one another and make sure theirs wasn't the only house. One night all the lights were out and it was super foggy, it was cool walking though the mist like that.

Kira216 I really like it People think it's weird that I will hear it start rain ing drop everytrhign I am doing and go outsdie and sit in it. I don't. I used to do that when I was a kid.

The power here goes out all the time. It's actually kind of pathetic how often it goes out. Half of the time, there isn't a storm or even a breath of wind anywhere.
It's actually kind of cool when the power goes out though, as long as I wasn't in the middle of doing something important. I like reading by candlelight. Probably really bad for my eyes, but whatever. xd
