Oreion Jcsb1993 Delhomme sucks anyway. They need a new quarterback and a good receiver alongside Steve Smith. oh im sure he sucks even though he had 8 touchdowns with one pick in 3 games and made a sorry team go 2 the superbowl i guess that means he sucks. that is the same as saying tom brady and peyton manning suck I fail to see how he compares to Peyton or Brady. He is inconsistent and injury prone. I don't give a damn what he did for one magical season, I haven't seen him do s**t since.

Here's why he hasn't done s**t: 1) He's injury prone. 2) He plays behind one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. 3) His only good target has been Steve Smith (who usually gets double-teamed) previous to this year. 4) His running back Foster has been plagued by injury as well, and cannot ease the pressure off of Delhomme. This are all reasons that aren't very fair to a QB with talent, without luck on his side.

I'm not saying that Brees was unsuccessful. He is a great QB, even better than Delhomme. Yet, Brees has a slightly better offensive line, had much better receiving targets, and has 2 very good backs (McCallister and Bush) behind him.

Okay. I brought up Brees to prove a point. You aren't that great if you need a stacked team to perform. McAllister was injured last season, and Reggie Bush isn't that spectacular, so there goes that. I can't name any receivers other than Colston and Devery Henderson on the Saints. Yet, he came in second this year with pass yards. Meanwhile, Delhomme was injured and not productive while he was in. I'm sorry, I know that Delhomme can play when he has a supporting cast, I just think he's very overrated.

Anyways, Brees throws many interceptions.

Also, Carolina's offense isn't as stacked as it is for this upcoming season, with many good returning players from injury, + Johnathan Stewart, Jeff Otah, Muhammed, and Hackett. Also, what are you talking about; who's saying that Brees will ever be like Archie Manning? Brees is good, but the two play nothing alike and Brees will never be as good as Archie.

When did I say Brees was the best QB of all time? Yes, he's my favorite quarterback in the league right now because he is consistant and he led the Saints 2 years ago. And ya know what Delhomme had that magical year a few years back? Stephen Davis, someone who can run. And this year, Bush sucked while Deuce was injured, and that didn't hinder Brees' performance.

Not "slightly above average," but pretty good. Both have done much magic for their teams, and remain consistent when healthy. Yet, I would take Brees over Delhomme on most days. ...Yet now, Delhomme may even have a better receiving core than Brees, with the new Panther acquisitions, along with Steve Smith.
