im sorry, what kind of books do you like? my good friends run a used book store, hearing this may bring them to cry, thus book donations, you won't have to pay any thing

I feel an empty space inside. Books are the children of people's souls. For 85 to die is almost genocide. I'd give you a hug if I knew you better.

That makes me think of the whole heart-of-the-cards in Yuugiou... Sometimes I wonder whether I should purchase new copies of some of my books. They've been pretty worn over the years from several readings. My copy of Tom Sawyer is pretty much creases and bent pages. sweatdrop

..man. 85 books! That's half my library! *stares in horror at her library, imagining what it would be like to lose it all*
BUT, I've been thinking about this. I mean, everybody talks about people losing houses and schools and junk, which is usually first priority anyway, but.. What kinds of museums and libraries were demolished? What kinds of rare books are destroyed? 85 books is a tragedy, but.. A whole library? Or worse, an art museum? I shudder to imagine! *faint*

My heart skipped a beat when I read that. The number of books you lost is only a fraction of my personal collection. I'm lucky to live in Boise, ID, the second safest city in America!

Robahn Hobyah Was everyone in your family ok? Books are a terrible loss but still replacable, family isn't Course, since you posted thus, I can only assume the best I agree, try not to get to upset. wink
