Jasper nodded his head, just as the little kit in the BCR wiggled around inside. Jasper was worried the little kit would come out at any moment now. It would be better if he could find Koumori before that happened. "Meh, I don't say this often, but thank you." He said, nodding his head one last time before heading in the direction of all the howling. However, the little kit in the BCr wouldn't stop wiggling. So he decided to stop somewhere in between the female and Koumori.
"Okay Alterio! Stop playing around!" He said, glaring at the BCR, and as if on cue the little kit popped out and glanced around. Jasper sighed and picked up his sun by the scuff of her neck and headed of toward Koumori. The little kit wiggled in the air.

Chi heard him turn around and leave, the BCR vibrating around his paw. "Welcome." She replied in a barely audible voice, before she returned her her gaze to the sky.
Koumori's howling ceased as he heard a rustle among the trees. His head quickly snapped it its direction, already knowing what it was. He could smell the male and kit approaching. His fangs shimmered, though he would have loved for them to be absent. They could be quite . . . Intimidating, and usually the first thing anyone noticed about him. He thought and felt a warmer look in his eyes, but he couldn't tell if they looked like that or if they still looked bloodthirsty and malevolent. "Hello . . ." He greeted, before the figure had fully emerged from the trees.

Jasper set Alterio down and let him scurry around on his own. He nodded his head lightly toward Koumori. "Are you the famous brother that I'm supposed to find?" He asked, while his tail wagged lightly behind him with his hidden excitement. He really wasn't one to show emotions at all.

Taking note of the male's tail wagging, Koumori nodded. "If you heard from a vixen who looks a lot like me and happens to be my sister, then yes. Though I wouldn't consider myself famous." He added, nodding back to the male. A kit pranced around, his crimson eyes following it's indefinite, random path. Returning his gaze and most of his attention to the male, he smiled a little, fangs gleaming. "I am Koumori, and the vixen you met earlier is my sister Chi. And you are?"

Jasper watched the little kit run around and sighed lightly, then turned back to Koumori to introduce himself. "Oi, I almost forgot that part! My name is Jasper and it's a pleasure to meet you Koumori." He said, giving him a small smile before returning to his usually scowling look. He rolled his eyes toward his kit, Alterio. "He so takes after his mother..." He said, glaring lightly before giving another deep sigh. He really didn't like being a father.

Koumori nodded back to Jasper. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well." His eyes fell back down to the kit, scampering around as if something was chasing it. "And his or her name is?"

Jasper sighed, "His name would be Alterio. I though it would sit nice with him considering the star marks." He said, nodding his head slowly as he watched the kit skitter around to check out the new world to him. How was Jasper ever going to deal with having a kid? He never dreamed he'd ever have to be a parent. Just at that moment Aido appeared. He'd come this way for no reason really. Probably because of all the water and puddles, he loves to create ice and slide around. He couldn't help but smile at the sight of the small kit playing around on the ground. He trotted over to the other males with a smile on his face.
"Hello 'Gents. Nice to see some others in the damp place! Adorable kit by the way!" He said, never once letting a smile slip off his face. However, it was easy to see his vampire fangs as the just barely passed his bottom lip. After that he seemed to have little interest left in the adult. He trotted right over to the kit and the two started to play.

Koumori nodded. "It's a nice name, Jasper." He remarked. He flipped his head over in the direction of another sound, a white male with ice on his paws. "Hello." He replied, but noticed the male lose interest and begin playing with Alterio. He sighed and looked over at Jasper. "I guess we should go hunt down my sister and possibly other tribe memebers while . . . This new vampire plays with your son." He glanced at the new male, not knowing his name, but not willing to spoil his mood with the kit. Returning his blood red gaze to Jasper he sighed again. "So you want to go hunt them down?"

Jasper's father alarms went off when Koumori mentioned the fact that the other fox, playing with his son, was a vampire. However, he choose to ignore them. So he nodded his head toward Koumori. "Sure, that sounds like a good use of time." He said, glancing down at the playing again.
Aido look up at the other two foxes when he realized that they were talking bout him. He blinked lightly and then addressed the two adult. "Sorry about that! My name is Aido, a please to meet you both." He said, bowing his head lightly.

Koumori smiled at Aido and nodded to him. "I'm sure your son will be fine. I don't believe Aido means any harm." He explained to Jasper, detecting his anxiety with the thought of his son being with another unknown vampire. "If anything goes wrong, we'll come back. I know little kits are quite good at screaming and running." He added, smirking at Jasper. "In the meantime, let's go find my sister."
Without waiting for a response, Koumori turned in the direction that Jasper had come from and sauntered away, picking up the scent trail Jasper had left to lead them to Chi rather than picking up her scent and searching from there, for Jasper had met Chi before himself.
Chi sighed. Her gaze was still fixed on the sky from the moment Jasper had left her. She had nothing else better to do with her time. Hopefully, the male had some amount of brains and could follow her simple directions to Koumori. The howling had stopped so that said something.
She sighed again, raising her head from her paws and yawned. She drummed her claws on the gray rock she had been laying on. Her tail flipped about, for she could hear footsteps approaching her, though they were very faint. The scent hit her some time later. Koumori was coming. She let her head fall back on her right foreleg. It wouldn't take him that long to come to her. So why go through the trouble of getting up and walking the extra distance so he could walk less? What could he possibly want anyway? He wasn't running so it couldn't be urgent . . .

Jasper nodded his head. If anyone as good at running around and screaming then it was Alterio. He had no doubt that he'd be able to get back in time in case of danger. Besides...Aido looked like he had the brain of a kit so he didn't think to worry. "Let's." He said, following after Koumori as he walked off to find Chi. He wasn't really looking forward to meeting the female again, she was a bit rude. Though, he couldn't say much. He was just as rude as she was at times.
Alterio didn't mind watching his father walk away, he was such a strict fox and rude too! He'd much rather play with the 'vampire' in front of him! After all, he liked to have fun and joke around! Even if Alterio was still just a kit, he didn't mind playing with bigger foxes. "Hello Aido! My name is Alterio!" He said, smiling lightly and climbing onto the bigger foxes back.
Aido smiled, watching the other foxes leave. Then he glanced back down at the small kit who was running between his legs. He rolled his eyes lightly, kits could be so adorable at time. Though, he'd rather follow after the males. "Nice name! Now...Let's follow your Daddy!" He said, allowing the kit to climb on his back, he quickly pranced off to catch up with the older males.

Koumori's ears perked up when he head faster paced footsteps behind him other than Jasper. He wheeled about, glaring beyond Jasper into the forest, crouched down low. His tail slowly swayed back and forth. The scents of the other foxes wafted over to him and a disdainful, almost embarrassed look fell on his face. He sighed, looking down at his paws. His black claws were fully extended and he was crouched low to the ground in a defensive position. As Aido carrying Alterio emerged into, at least his view, he sighed again and looked up at them, with pleading eyes saying, "I was stupid and reacted too quickly to the noise of your approach." And yet he still remained in his defensive stance, for another noise caught his attention.
His eyes still locked with Aido's, his ears rotated around, listening to it, detecting it. It was extremely light and faint, more like the sound wind would make while whispering through the trees. And yet he could not dismiss it. He could hear the distinct sound of paw pads striking the forest floor, even if it was only a light step. It seemed to be a female modifox, but he could only be so sure. And Chi's scent indicated that she had not moved. He had not caught the scent of this other presence, but he could not go investigate until he had rejoined with his sister. She was much harder to find, even more so when she didn't want to be found or bothered.
But he would find this mysterious vixen lurking in the shadows. His eyes still fixed on Aido's, he rose from his defensive position, straightening himself out, and cleared his throat. "Aido, I have detected faint signs of a vixen in the area, but she seems very discreet and cunning, and may be somewhat of a pain to find. But my sister, Chi, is even more of a pain to find so it's better to catch her when she's still in one place. Do you mind searching the forest for a vixen that may have wandered into our forest while Jasper and I get Chi? If we don't see you back where we first met, we'll go out and find you, if you've caught the vixen or not. In the case that you haven't caught her, then we'll hunt her down together." Koumori explained, giving him a dismissive, yet respectful nod and turned, dashing after Jasper's scent trail and the newly found scent of Chi in the distance.
Now Koumori was running. He had stopped for some period of time and there were other scents mixed with his and Jasper's. Chi prayed Koumori didn't expect her to run to him. She didn't feel like leaving her rock. But Koumori could be quite nasty occasionally, most often when Chi was too lazy to come to him when a matter was urgent. But, she was tired, and wasn't going to come without good reason. And there wasn't some catastrophic event occurring or anything like that, so Koumori and Jasper could take the extra strides to reach her. And she could pretend like she was napping. Chi closed her blood red eyes. This ploy usually worked.

A silver vixen, discreet and careful, lightly padded across the forest floor with light, quick steps. She made sure that she was light and left little notice of her hopefully swift crossing into this forest. Other foxes were here . . . The second she head them, the second she smelled them, she decided it was time for her to leave.
Kane was not one that enjoyed company. She was not good at conversations and didn't like talking. She preferred singing, not that there was much difference between the two voices. Kane's voice was an entrancing, ravishing, mesmerizing, enchanting voice that sounded like the finest of wind chimes and bells.
At this time, unusually, lyrics to songs did not cross her head and tempt her to sing them out loud like they usually did. Instead, her mind was blank, emptied except for the thought of leaving. But Kane had a dreadful feeling that turned her stomach. These foxes had noticed her presence . . .

Jasper was walking beside Koumori when he suddenly stopped and spun around. Jasper was confused, but he turned his head to look back at Koumori an, in the distance Aido, who had popped out of the bushes not far behind them. Though, Koumori seemed to have thought they were something else. He blinked lightly, and simply watched as they exchanged words and then dashed off after Koumori as he ran.
Alterio enjoyed ridding on Aido's back, it really was fun to just dash though the forest. He knew, a normal fox wouldn't run as fast or as gracefully as Aido did. So, it too his time enjoying the wind. However, when Aido suddenly stopped, he was a little startled. Though, he mood shifted again and he was completely oblivious to how serious the situation could have been. Vampire were dangerous.
Aido dashed along in the woods, easily following the scent of the two adults, though as he was running toward them he could also make out the sent of the other female. It must have been the female that Koumori and Jasper were looking for. His ears perked up as he listened to the sounds around him and he suddenly stopped when he popped out of a bushy are of the damp forest.
Some distance ahead of them, Koumori was crouched down, glaring right at them. He recognized the look in his eyes and crouched down himself. Though, before anything serious could happen Koumori apologized and Aido was quick to trust him again. "Things happen! No worries." H said, making sure to show a soft smile. However, he continued to hold eye contact until Koumori spoke again. This time, talking about a vixen in the forest somewhere. He nodded his head and turned around.
"Hold on Alterio! Time for fun!" Aido said, taking off into the forest as fast as he could. He could hear her now, the scent he'd thought to be the vixen Koumori and Jasper were after, was really this mystery girl. He smiled to himself, running though the forest. Though, it had more elegance to it, actually it look more like he was simply sliding though the leaves. Though, he began to slow down as he got closer to the mystery girl. He smiled to himself, he was close now. So close, he simply had to dash a few more steps forward.
Which, he did and came out beside this beautiful vixen. "Hello Ma'am. What are you running from?" He asked, tilting his head lightly as he kept a silent pace with her. Alterio on his back seemed startled and he almost wished he'd sent the kid with his father.

Koumori looked over his shoulder, glad to see Jasper still running behind him. At least the red modifox was loyal. He averted his eyes back in front of him. He could already see the clearing and a figure slumped on a rock. A frown plastered on his face as he dragged his feet to a stop as they approached the thinning tree line. He sighed and emerged from the shadows of the forest.
His sister was there, but asleep. He shook his head disdainfully. "Chi, you could at least make the slightest effort to . . . " Koumori's voice trailed off as he observed the area. Chi laid on a gray, almost black rock in front of a pool of still water blacker than the night itself. The pool was encircled by banks of rocks that were the same gray, nearly black color. It looked more like a well. The pool gave off the illusion that it was solid, that you could walk on it. It was just that undisturbed . . . He was so awestruck that he did not notice Chi had aroused and was looking at him.
His senses returned to him and he broke off from his trance-like state. His eyes shifted to Chi, who was staring him dead on. He cleared his throat and looked down at his paws, embarassed. "Nevermind." He muttered, looking back up at her. "Come. I've found potential members and I've decided to regroup with them all and begin setting up ranks, boundries, and just seeing who's in and who's out." His eyes took on an almost pleading look. "It's our only chance for a new life . . . A life of acceptance . . . Isn't that what you've always wanted? What we both have always wanted?" He said the words in a low, hushed voice that only Chi could hear.
Chi watched as Koumori stared at the little pool of water. She couldn't blame him. She found it beautiful as well. She sighed, her patience wearing out. As soon as Koumori began to speak, her heart began to sank. She did not know if she'd like this life with other Modifoxes, and it suddenly seemed to hard to change. She looked down, avoiding his gaze as he asked those questions she found to be too hard to answer. She pursed her lips and sighed. She didn't want to break Koumori's dreams, but his dreams may be better without her.
For now, she'd play along, acting as if she was to join this tribe. But when the time came, she'd leave. She'd tell Koumori and she'd go back to her life of wandering. She could do without this life Koumori was trying to make for them both, but she knew it would not be the life she wanted. No matter how bitter she felt to some Modifoxes, she could live a solitary life. She had already met a few that weren't so bad after all . . .
Kane looked at the . . . handsome male modifox running beside her with the kit on his back and she leaped into the trees. She back at the white male with golden hair, clothed like a human with ice on his paws. His eyes were a light blue and the red tie he wore caught her attention. The kit on his back seemed slightly scared and she turned around, bouncing from tree to tree without a word. She knew the male would persue her, but she wasn't going to give in so easily.

Fuchi felt it, this place was where she belonged. Darkness, blood, shadows, hatred. Yes, hatred abounded, cried out from the soil, echoed among the rocks, breathed in the stagnant air that oppressed the sun and vegetation. In this place, only the cruel could survive.
How quaint she had thought to herself. She was some kind of poet now, making up all these flowery descriptions. Bah, who cares? Blood, darkness, hatred. That's all she needed. This place was the perfect home for her.
And if anyone got in her way...
