Wedged in the pile up to her neck, Cigende whined as she kicked and shook, but the bones holding her in place never shifted. The mouse was still very much alive, and squeaked and twisted frantically, trying to free its leg from her jaws. She held on tight, but the rodent's movements were tickling her nose something fierce.
"Rrr...yres an' nro..." she replied, and concentrated with all her might on not sneezing.
There was a moment of pause, as the hyena pup and the mouse faced off, staring at each other. Then the mouse sank its teeth into Cigende's nose. She yelped and bucked, and sneezed, and bucked, but still kept her jaw clamped firmly shut. Finally, with Micah's help from behind, the pile collapsed around her, and she was free. She leapt back, and stared at her prey, as it stared at her, each of them having the other in their teeth.
"Nrow whrat?" She whined.

It was a struggle, trying to free Cigende from this mess she had gotten herself into, and after a while, Micah thought that she'd just be stuck there forever. For a moment, the black hyena stopped with her efforts, sighing in exhaustion. Intelligent eyes scanned the situation, and hopeless as it seemed, Micah was determined to see this one through. Once again, she dove into the mess, clamping her jaw around the scruff of the pup's neck and tugging back.
"C'mooooo'"
Suddenly, there was a commotion inside the hole. Cigende's torso bucked and tensed with a sneeze, and finally, her head popped right out. Micah's grip loosened and with all the strain still pent up, she was sent rolling off. Quickly, she picked herself up, not even bothering to shake off the extra dust on her coat, and bounded back over to Cigende. The sight she was presented with was quite a conundrum, a sort of headlock between the two. The young animal furrowed her brows, concerned that Cigende could not figure out how to just end it right here. With an extenstion of her neck, Micah lashed out with her teeth. Her sharp little fangs connected with the mouse in Cigende's grasp, puncturing into the middle of its small body. Letting go, she snapped her head back. Like the strike of a viper, it was over, the mouse hung bleeding and near death in Cigende's jaws. Micah huffed lightly, tilting her head up, her tone bordering on haughty,
"Ya's gonna nee' more practice."
