A friend asked me to catch Rayquaza on his emerald version because he was frustrated with trying.
1 restart and about three minutes later, I returned the game with it in his party and in a premier ball.
Good times. Now if only I had that kind of luck when I play my game.

I was sick of Rayquaza's s**t so I just lobbed a Pokeball at him from the start and caught him. Punk knew to stay quiet from then on.

Well I probably have to say it was on Pokemon Collosseum.
Entei = Red = Pokeball
Suicune = Blue = Great Ball
Raikou = Yellow = Ultra Ball
That was a pretty good "what the heck" game for me.
I think I captured a pokemon for my friend in a pokeball but I can't remember which one. I think it was Moltres in Firered. I went with the color theory once again.

What did you do the the Master ball then? Totally wasted it on a Ponyta. XD Like I said, first play through and I was a total newb. XD

lol. I think i did that in my first ever game. Don't remember what i caught though... sweatdrop

Hahaha! I used mine on Mewtwo, but that's because I heard it was best to do so.

insaner2play Nice! Did you lose anyone in your party? I lost the entire team at least once. since I couldn't kill it I had to let them take hits and not attack back. Back then I didn't have many moves that did no damage, so I relied on potions and stuff like that.

It is possible. You can catch anything in any ball so long as luck is on your side.
Thinking about it, I caught Rayquaza in a Luxury Ball (I think?) in my Ruby. The ball where a big spiral of hearts is released with the Pokemon. XD Big, scary Rayquaza in all his lovely glory!
