"Good DhanDhan," Tomoko said with a smile patting her soulless brother on the head as she skipped over to where Seiko had been sitting with the book he cared so much about. "Now, now, now," Tomoko said childishly as she sat down on the boat, opening up Seiko's book. "Seikoko is a silly boy getting upset over words," Tomoko said as she began to flip through the pages of the book. "Seiko's Mama never showed Seiko how to read the book," Tomoko said, noticing that the book was written in the ancient language of Heikou; a language of demons. "Tomoko doesn't know how to read it either!" the woman said with a silly grin. "But! Jio Waizu does!" Tomoko chirped as she put her hands together in a several seals before saying "Jio Keikou," and releasing a seal she had placed on her mind.
Tomoko was able to read fully the language and text in the book of Heikou. "Waizu reads of the shrine of Heikou and the process in which to get it in. Waizu also reads that the history of what is happening to the current day must be recorded in the book of Heikou," Tomoko spoke in a very deep and controlled voice before re-sealing the elder's knowledge into her mind once again. Dancing back over to Seiko and Dhan, Tomoko pulled jerky out from a pack. "For DhanDhan!" the woman said as she strapped Seiko's book to her back. "Seikoko has a very valuable book and Tomoko is taking it to keep it safe!" Tomoko said, patting Seiko on the head. "Tomoko will protect Seiko's precious memories," the woman stated as she sat back down. "Now! Zoku and Seiko can look at Tomoko's book while Tomoko studies Seiko's book! Drop Seiko, DhanDhan," Tomoko ordered the big brute who was turning Seiko all kinds of colors.

Zoku had never realized that her eyes resembled Seiko's. A Meho wasn't one to look in a mirror very often. Heikou had mortal children? Zoku wasn't sure how that worked, but she thought that Tomoko was some how linking Zoku and Seiko into being Celestial Twins. The little girl jumped where she sat when Seiko suddenly yelled out at Tomoko. The Jio snapped and went to attack the woman, but then was stopped immediatley by Dhan. Starting up from her seat, Zoku was going to help Seiko, but then Tomoko began to walk past her over to the book after patting Dhan on the head. Zoku had seen several sealing techniques performed by Tomoko since she had lived with the woman, but not this one. Tomoko spoke of another person's name as she read the book. It just further confused the Meho into not understanding what was going on. Zoku rubbed her head, utterly confused. "Seiko?" Zoku asked, her brows furrowed as she looked over to the Jio for answers and slightly wondering if he was alright with Tomoko taking his book... It was under better protection by her though... That much was true.

Seiko was having troubles breathing as he felt the zombie killer snake his fingers around his throat. The boy just hung there in mid air feeling the pressure build up behind his eyes. Following Tomoko's movements around the ship he could see she was going for his book. He was in no position to stop her, nor was he in a position to argue. She was right, the book was safer in her hands. Lately it seemed a lot of things were better left out of his hands. He was to unstable to be trusted with much of anything but his own life and even that seemed like to much lately. As he was drop to the ground the boy coughed and gasped like a fish out of water. His mouth open breathing heavily he stared at the planks of the ship, not looking up. "I told you already...dont speak of my mother." It was an empty threat. He could do nothing about it.
Looking over to Zoku with his only eye showing, he looked at her. This time there was emotion behind his eyes. A slight tinge of fear and sadness. Something inside the boy was calling out to the girl for aid. Of course he would never show it, but sometimes the body could not lie as well as a person wished. The boy didn't want to be alone, holding onto the past. He wanted some to trust, someone who would be there with him till the very end. Tomoko was not that person, she was to up and down. She was irresponsible in Seiko's eyes, but maybe Zoku could be that person. Wobbly standing to his feet, the jio boy placed his hands back into his pockets as he let the sea breeze push him gently. Walking back to his corner he sat. That book was all that was left of his mother. She died protecting that book, he would too. "Heikou..." the boy didnt like the idea, but it meant strength he normally wouldn't have. "If we are these so called twins. Then let us go to the shrine."

-Twilight Time-
For the rest of the trip, Tomoko sat in front of the wheel and tried to make more sense of the book of Heikou while she planted Dhan on the wheel to hold it steady. Any questions from her brats were ignored as she would freak out and tell them to be quiet while she and Waizu try to make sense of the book!

Boat docks in Runner's Bay of Haha Island. We're going to remain on the boat for a moment, so make your twilight time with your next posts.
After being up all night and reading about everything there was to the Heikou shrine, Tomoko was pondering as she sat on the boat and stared at Runner's Bay where there was constant yelling and crashing sounds from the drunken pirates. Tomoko had been staring off for almost an hour rocking side to side with the ship like a clock pendulum. "ALRIGHT!" Tomoko said, slapping her legs and hopping to her feet. Walking across the deck and scaring away the seagulls that had gathered, Tomoko walked over to her brats. "Tomoko has to give something to Zoku and Seiko," the woman said as she unrolled the large scroll pack she kept on her back. Grabbing some ink and brushes, Tomoko pointed at two spots with her fingers. "SIT! SIT!" she ordered the two. "On knees," she further instructed, making sure they were going to sit perfectly for her. "Tomoko's gift is very nice! So sit nicely," the woman barked as she impatiently waited for the two to get in position.

When morning peaked, Zoku hadn't realized that they had made it back to the island. "Runner's Bay..." Zoku snarled with a bit of disgust at the place they had arrived. The Meho's had constantly ravaged this hell hole, but the damn pirates and cut throats kept coming back and rebuilding their crap bars and inns. The first person she spotted was Tomoko sitting at the front of the ship swaying back and forth with the rocking boat. She was quiet and not yelling at anyone to get up. It was weird, but the silence was suddenly broken as the woman screamed a word of enthusiasm. Zoku groaned and sunk her head down between her knees as she walked over to where Zoku and Seiko had closed themselves off for the night. When Tomoko said she was going to give something to them, Zoku's head instantly shot up followed by her entire body. The female Meho was on her feet and anxious for the gift that Tomoko would give them. She knew it had to be Dhan's sword! Zoku had gone to the stupid academy on that dumb island and now Tomoko was going to reward her! Zoku sat where she instructed and even on her knees. The Meho nodded saying that she would sit nicely for Tomoko in order to get the gift.

Zoku's toes wiggled underneath her as she uncomfortably moved back and forth waiting for Tomoko to give the gift to her. She was getting more and more impatient and Seiko was not doing as Tomoko asked. The little Meho girl had no doubt in her mind that Seiko was still upset from last night and not willing to do as Tomoko asked. "What's our gift?" Zoku asked, hoping that the gift would make Seiko come and sit next to her to receive it. The girl licked her lips as the hot sun beat down on her black hair. She missed the warmth of Haha Island. Shimagakure was cold compared to this heat wave of an island. Rearranging herself into a more comfortable position, Zoku glared at the spot that Seiko should be sitting and waited impatiently for him to join.

Seiko sat in his corner refusing to accept anything from the island woman. It was bad enough he had to go back to runner's bay. Knowing the Meho keep those bastards in line chaos had probably spread through out the entire island now. Dropping his head to avoid contact with Zoku, he didn't want to join in on what ever stupidity chibi-chan had in store for them. Shaking out his spiky hair he rested his head on his arms and looked down at the floor boards with his uncovered eye. He had no reason to listen to the woman. Seiko owed her nothing for saving his life. He didn't ask for her help. "Are you just going to let her take your book baby? She had no right to put her dirty fingers all over your mothers legacy." Redemption was right in the sense that her mothers legacy lived in that book. She had protected that book with her very life. If he wanted it to stay protected though he would have to let the book stay in Tomoko's hands. Mumbling under his breath as to not draw attention to himself. He spoke to the inner voice, "Shut up, you dont know what that woman is capable of. Just leave me alone and get out of my head."

Seiko sat in the corner not moving his head and just staring at the floor. Akemi was on his mind this time. She was a strange girl and like him she had experience with death. As he mauled over in his mind what kind of game he could play with the girl next he smiled. As time grew with her he might find some urge to corrupt her even further. Looking out the corner of his eye he looked at Zoku, she wasnt so bad, but she was still a Meho. She looked down on him as if he was weak, but he had survived just as long as she had. As his father always said when asked why he didnt join the royal guard again. "I didnt earn this position. I survived long enough to be put here." As far as Seiko saw it he was surviving and that was what he would do as long as he could.

Zoku was sitting very nicely and Tomoko was still not giving her the gift. Was Tomoko not going to give it to her until Seiko came and sat next to her. Zoku hardened her glare at Seiko. The Meho girl was rather spineless and almost shy at times, but she wanted that blade! Getting to her feet, the little girl made loud thuds with each step as she stomped over to the Jio that sat with his head between his legs brooding in the corner. "Get up," Zoku said calmly, but with a rather demanding tone. "I want to know what she has for me," Zoku said, completely disregarding Seiko and only seeing the self benefit she would get if Seiko came and sat next to her nicely. The Meho girl was staring through her long black bangs at Seiko making herself look rather foreboding as she waited for him to raise his head. Jio's were so weak... Her prejudice towards the second half of Heikou was shining through once again as Seiko acted stupid and didn't do as Tomoko asked.

Seiko sat minding his own business trying to figure out what this gift could be. He knew of none of the jutsu's the clan had in their arsenal nor did he believe that any gift from Tomoko was without reason. As he thought of normal things he heard the heavy thuds of one person. As Zoku made her way to him. As she began to calmly commanded him to stand he chuckled. He lifted his head with his one eye looking at her hazily. "I am not afraid of you. I am starting to like you. So if you don't mind sit down yourself and leave me be." The tone he spoke to Zoku in was much like that of a drunkard, but he was far to focused even though he didn't seem like it. Watching her for any sudden moves.

Seiko was not phased by the way he was acting. Laying his head back down he simply let Desperado rise to the occasion. "Nicely down boy. You seem to have more of a back bone then I thought you did. Now why don't you just toss the little b!tch overboard and you could be free of her?" Seiko didnt move nor did he speak to Desperado. When he said he was beginning to like the girl he wasnt lying. She was different from any other Meho she had ever meet, but she was still a Meho deep down and it showed just now. It was not shocking to him though, he didn't expect the Meho to accept him so quickly but he would try little things to make this unfortunate partnership a little easier on both of them, but he was not going to jump at her or anyone else's command. That wasnt in his nature, he was a scroll worker, and now he was a shinobi trying to learn some key information to seek his revenge. Nothing more and nothing less, unless that gift was the severed head of his parents killer he didn't want it.

Zoku was a little caught off guard by what Seiko had said, but she honestly felt the same way. "I don't hate you," she admitted, but there would be nothing more said of that. She just turned away from Seiko with nothing more to say to him. If he wanted to sit there and not take what Tomoko was offering, then that was his loss. Sitting back down in front of Tomoko, Zoku looked back over her shoulder at Seiko before looking up at Tomoko through her bangs. "I'm ready for my gift," Zoku said looking back down at the floor boards of the ship.

Stomping her feet up and down on the deck, Tomoko made a lot of noise to get everyone's attention. "Tomoko says she has a gift for both Seiko and Zoku! Come here or eeeeeelseu~" Tomoko said as she stood by the edge of the boat with the book of Heikou in hand, dangling over the edge. "Listen to Tomoko," she said with a big grin on her face as she attempted to bully Seiko into sitting nicely with Zoku or she toss the book in the water.

Seiko's attention was fully focused on Tomoko now as she stomped her feet like a little child and whined at Seiko. The Meho straightened up her back and sat as tall as she could to receive her gift. Her position didn't even change as Tomoko held a book more precious than life to Seiko over the edge of the boat. Zoku would have jumped up to help Seiko save his dear pages, but not in a situation like this. He was directly disobeying Tomoko's wishes and it was a consequence he was getting now. It wasn't really the fact that Zoku respected Tomoko's demands, but a fact of consequences. Staring ahead through her black bangs, Zoku kept that placid look on her face as she looked blankly ahead. Even if Seiko were to react hotly towards Tomoko's threat, Zoku had no doubt in her mind that Dhan would throw the boy overboard if he charged at Tomoko.
