The soft cantor of the melody of voices within made marvelous background music for the woman as she plunged headfirst into her mind. Exploring some crevices she had ignored for months due to a burst in activity, Aleara was at peace with the serenity her mind lulled her body into as she scrubbed the fragments of memories she no longer wished to hold from her mind. Jaw set into a firm half frown, she continued to drink and eat mindlessly.

"How I do love my peace and quiet."

The words tumbled down without any thought as she finished the business of cleaning her mind. Taking to surveying the crowd and really taking in who was around, her lips formed a cruel, hard smile.

It seemed that some of the Administration was present....lovely. Sinking farther into the booth, she exhaled and her eyes fluttered closed as she finished her first drink and waved for another.

I can fight back in the cruelest way

Frost finished his drink and without another word he payed the bartender and left. He knew Sebastet had noticed him, he was a fool to think otherwise. He had stopped trying to kill the vampire, after all he had a bigger fish to fry now. He swept out of the tavern and back onto the streets.

He would buy a trinket for himself and go hom. That was really one of Frost's biggest weaknesses. He had a love for trinkets and small things that are beautiful. It was odd for a man of his stature and personality to have a love for such things but he couldn't help it.

He stopped at a small booth and bought a tiny glass unicorn. Now that is done he could go home and now he would set off.

Say it again if you want to depress me ;

Cassius paid for his drink and followed Frost out, giving a polite nod to Sebastet and Liette. He ignored Aleara because she obviously preferred it that way right now.

He followed the man out into the streets, staying far enough away that he couldn't be seen.

He stopped at the same vendor and smiled when he found out what he'd purchased.

Perfect! Now he had a weakness... Now to figure out how to use it....

Amory walked into the semi busy tavern and took up a spot in the corner as he liked to sit and people watch, without being bothered. He hardly drank but still it was nice to go somewhere, where people were happy. Even if it was the effects of the alcohol.

As he sat there he found himself wondering what his late wife would think of him sitting here like some poor loner as he was not one to go up and introduce himself to others and start a conversation.

After some time he got up and left as he would check the streets just once before he would report for duty early.
