I know they're making a 3rd.... thier problem was they started the anime way to soon. Vampire knight doesn't even have 50 chapters out yet!!! IM honestly surprised they were able to squeeze 2 seasons out with only like 46 chapters to work off of. Honestly.

actually they squished like 10 manga chapters into the last 2 or 3 episodes. it seemed like they took out a lot of stuff. nd i dont think theyre making a third season.
nd yes the ending sucked!

I just want to know how they ended it, seeing they dont HAVE an ending to work with...like the death note movies....made before the series ended so they came up with thier own idea of how it should end.xD

Unappreciated headmaster I just want to know how they ended it, seeing they don't HAVE an ending to work with...like the death note movies....made before the series ended so they came up with thier own idea of how it should end.xD Well, they don't come up with it themselves, usually the writer is consulted but yeah, the animators and producers come up with original storylines (which usually suck...) But of course, at that time Vampire Knight was getting a huge surge of popularity so the animators just had to take advantage of that. Although, it would have been more popular if they'd waited a bit.

Unappreciated headmaster Still doesn't answer my question, how did the anime end? I refuse to watch it, they changed the plot crying I never actually watched the ending either. I don't like it when the storyline is changed too much.

*spoiler for ending*
they changed the fight nd how rido died. yuuki doesnt fight at allll. she finally gets her weapon thingy to evolve nd then all she does is cut zero's mutated arm. she ends up leaving with kaname nd the night class follows them. nd then zero is left all alone at the school saying i will kill u yuukiii. it was a sad and disappointing ending. xp

Sounds up to date with the manga... seeing they honestly don't have an ending to work with yet. Kaname and yuuki do leave the campus, saying goodbye to everyone but me *is still fuming about that* I love you too yuuki crying and Im not entirely certain whats going on with Yagari and day class... Ichijou's been kidnapped by sara and Night class is on thier way home to possible slaughter as I highly doubt many of those kids will be in thier parents favor.

i dont think they put in anything evil about sara in the anime so that problem thing isnt in there. they actually say goodbye to the headmaster. the night class is traveling with kaname and yuuki unlike in the manga where theyre trying to find them. it seems like they ended the anime since theyre missing all the issues that are in the manga. i dont think theres going to be a season 3.

I as well refuse to watch the last episode, but it seems to me that's they way they wanted it. Maybe Matsuri Hino wanted them to end it that way. If the manga isnt far enough developed there's no point in continuing an anime based on nothing. She probably knows the fans would get mad- as all of you are now- if they continued the anime without a basic idea.
Matsuri Hino has other manga's they could turn into anime (i.e. MeruPuri) or I think she should finish the WANTED manga.... crying I liked that manga. It was too short!!!
