Onett stepped out of his father's SUV and grabbed his luggage from the trunk. "Well, son....This is your stop...." he said with a sad smile on his face. Onett was never away from his family for more than a month.
This would make his departure that much harder.
His father stepped out of the car and gave him a warm hug, which was weird. Onett's father tried not to show emotion, but this was a special occasion. And his father couldn't be more proud. "Alright, son," his father started as he let him go, "Kick some supernatural a**!" "You know I will!" Onett laughed. He then dragged his bag into the school.
"We meet again, Onett," said Ulmeyda. He extended his hand and shook Onett's hand. "Uh...Hey, Mr. Ulmeyda!" Onett replied. "You'll have Dorm # 1. It's right down the hall and up the stairs," he said with a warm smile on his face.

The winds proved to be useful for a young lady as Kimberly landed safely on the ground in a woods across the street from the school. She let the red bird wings sink back into her body, becoming one with her again. Luggage with her (which was a pain to carry), she waited a bit as she made sure she wasn't followed. It was not a crime to be too careful these days. She looked to a nearby squriell, and after being paranoid long enough, decided to ask it a question. "Is anyone across the street?" she asked, but while it was English to her, it sounded squriell to others. "Just some boy getting hugged by a emotional dad, but that's about it." the furry creature replied, before hopping off the tree limb and deeper into the woods. "Oh, and nice cut there, kid. Good luck with that healing up." Nodding her thanks, she made her way towards the entrance of the school. It was sad; there was no one to say goodbye to her. Mother would have been the one to do so, but she wasn't here. She'd never be here for her again......
Stopping in her tracks, the girl took out a pocket mirror out of her purse and looked at herself: there was a large bandage wrapped about her forehead, where the beer-bottle cut was healing underneath. She hoped it wasn't too noticeable. If anyone asked, she fell down the stairs and landed on a sharp toy of a friend's. Finally gathering up her courage, she strolled with her suitcase and purse towards the building and entered the gates.
She was now safe; there were others there as well. Some talking, some showing off, just being teens. She smiled; this was more familiar than she ever felt. So many people like her here. That was new to her. Now, off to the building with the room key; she needed to unpack then explore. But she took her time and strolled along at a nice steady pace.

Tanja had arrived ealry that morning, only becuase in the early mornings is when the airline tickets are cheapest. She had already found her room and gotten everything set-up just how she want it, ever since she had been roaming every other hallway she could find, but within the last hour she had been in the courtyard playing with Laub.
Jet lag would probably come later when she had worked pass all the excitement of the first day but until then she'd enjoy the adrenaline rush.
Laub, the young fawn, if you could call it a fawn was mirroring Tanja's moves as the skitted around the tree playing an awkward little game of tag. "Come on Laub." she teased with her legs ready to dash at the slightest twitch. Laub acknowledged her challenge and stamped his hooves at the ground. But Tanja was already in a sprint, Laub took off to catch when the leaves from the Oak tree tumbled from the branches and meshed together in front of the young creature. It was only seconds before the leaves flung right back at Tanja. Back and forth, the giant mass of leaves flew until they spouted up into the air and fell back towards earth coating the two friends as well as the grounds around them.
Laub nudged Tanja in the arm with his head and Tanja wrapped her arm around the deer's neck and laughed, "Okay, you got me." The giggle fit continued until Laub pulled her attention to the bare tree, the only one in the line of trees to have no leaves. No sooner had they looked at the tree did new leaves appear on the branches, bright green and as big as a human hand.
Once the tree was no longer bare the two continued throwing piles of leaves back and forth. The two had been apart of each other's lives, literaturally, for the past 14 years. They always palyed like this. Having Laub around, always gave her the warm feeling of home, like she had never left.

Mai took off days ago, her mother pestering her to get a move on so she could get a head start of school. She didn't want to at first, but she couldn't have agreed more now that she took all that time trying to get there and find the place.
'I can't find~!' she screamed in her head as she felt as if she was going to go insane if she couldn't find it any sooner.
She was getting tired than ever, she had been flying for hours with no rest. She flew down, hoping to find a good place to land, to her dismay, the only good place to land right now was still a bit far ahead. She sighed at this and felt as if it took forever to get there. She looked around with tired eyes and walked for a bit to check the place out for any traps or any intruders that would try and sneak up at her. She only walked a bit, only to find a giant school in front of her, she finally found it.
'Finally....' she told herself mentally as she formed into her human self, having a bit of a hard time doing so since she was exhausted.
By the time she completely formed, she was on her knees, almost drained out of her energy. She got up, a bit wobbly and practically dragged her bags on the ground, letting it pick up a few rocks and twigs along the way. Her 2 kittens peeked their heads out, meowing happily as they hopped out of one of the bags and walked beside their tired owner. She forced a smile at them and bent down to let them hop into her arms. She made her way to the great main doors after doing so.
She was a little bit hesitant as she was opening the door, but decided to get in there and hope for the best.
She finally got in, feeling lot more tired than ever after opening HUGE doors like that. The only thing in her head that made her keep going was the voice of her parents reassuring her....and her kittens' meowing. She walked around, trying to find the office, if this place was almost the same as her old school, she'll probably get more than enough help at the principals office.

Now in the main office and hearing a call out to her, the girl turned foward to face whoever it was. It turned out to be the same boy who was smothered by his father not long ago. Strange, he seemed nervous as well; so she wasn't the only one.
"Hm, I'll probably head there as soon as I get my luggage put away. Or I can wait; this isn't that heavy, honestly." she answered kindly, not shooting the boy down. It'd be nice to make friends, after all. And if she could fly with luggage, she could darn well roll it about. "Do you by chance know where the dorm rooms are? I can't seem to find which building there in. Oh! I'm Kim, by the way!" she added; looks like her manners had disappeared for a sec there.

While talking to Kim, Onnet noticed someone walking past with 2 kittens on her arms. "Cool cats!" he yelled from across the hall, hoping she would introduce herself. He loved cats.

Mai stopped in the middle of her tracks and walked back towards the hall that she just passed, sure enough she saw a male and a female talking, by the sound of the voice that called, she presumed that it had been the male. Her kittens meowed in joy and hopped off her arms, making her panic a bit since they never did that, that much. Hikaru and Kaoru ran towards the male and hopped on his shoulders, meowing like crazy. Mai ran towards them, finally slowing down finding her kittens meowing happily. She smiled at them and let her bag drop to the ground.
"Hikaru...Kaoru..." she said in a serene voice, clapping her hands a bit to get their attention.
They stopped meowing and their smiles got even bigger as they jumped from the male's shoulders into her arms. She fixed their ruffled up fur and they simply purred, falling asleep 5 minutes later.
"My name's Mai by the way...looks like my kittens like you," she said after a few moments of silence, her gaze taken away from her kittens towrads the male in front of her.

Onett laughed at the kittens. "Hey, they do like me!" Onett exclaimed. "Maybe it's because I'm awesome!" he chuckled.
"Oh yeah!" he said a few seconds later. "The name's Onett D'Silva. I'm new here. But apparently, so are you!"
Onett looked down at the kittens again and began laughing.

Mai giggled at this and felt a bit better since she found someone nice here at the academy. Her kittens soon started to wake up once more after hearing their laughs and giggles. Kaoru was the first to meow and smile at Onette, soon followed by Hikaru that purred against Mai's gentle petting.
"These are Hikaru and Kaoru...they're like my best friends ever since I was 5...cause they were always the one to cheer me up whenever I'm lonely.." she added, hugging them softly, which they happily rubbed their heads against in comfort.

"Whoa....Didn't ask for your life story!" Onett laughed. "I'm just kidding. They're nice."
After that, there was a pause.
"So, if you don't mind me asking....What's your power? I heard everyone here has one. Can you like, breathe fire or something?" he asked.

Mai looked around a bit as both of them said nothing, not even her kittens meowed at the sudden silence between them.
"Oh...yeah..I have powers..." she replied as she set her kittens down on the floor and took a few moments before something occurred.
She gasped in pain as she felt a sudden pain rush through her back. Second by second, the searing pain grew bigger and bigger, and silence settled in. A pair of white and silver wings spread out from behind her, she shook off the excess pain and looked at Onette with a huge smile on her face.
"Like them?" she asked as she spun around slowly, looking at her wings as she went by.
Her kittens meowed again as they sat down beside Onette. They looked up at him with their smiles plastered on their furry faces, meowing in unison a couple of times.

There was a tear in the fabric of space and time. More of a scratch, really, if you think about it. A large claw could be seen making the scratch, and a young man, covered in trinkets and charms, stepped out. He turned back to the claw as his feet met the ground, and doffed his top hat. " Thanks, Cheshire. " He grinned at the cat demon, and turned around, not wanting to see the rip vanish. The Cheshire Cat had found him, stuck in another country, and took him here. His mother didn't really know what would happen when she threw him into that vortex. Stupid woman... He turned on his heels, heading towards the school.
" My, my. What a large establishment... " He whispered under his breath. Running up to a nearby pole, he gripped it tight. " Oh, no return hug? Right, right. How very odd. " He scratched at his head, trying to get a grip on things. The trees here don't talk, huh? He shook his head, and pulled up his backpack. Crossing the road, he entered the school, grinning with absolute delight. The doors were so large, and there were people, real people there. He gripped a clock on a chain that was on his throat, not wanting to collapse from excitement. Or whatever was making him feel so light-headed. " Uh...hm. " He held his head in his hand for a bit, then started to ransack his backpack, looking for his cards. Everything he owned was on the ground, but he couldn't find the cards. " Oh, no, no, no. " He felt around his pockets, and let out a relieved sigh as he found them, tucked away with another watch in his front pocket. He took them out and shuffled them, checking to see that they were all there. With the swish of a hand, they were in his hat, and a small mouse was picking up all his belongings, and putting them back in the pack. " There's a good mouse. Good girl. "

Onett smiled at the kittens yet again. This was an awkward smile. He noticed that Mai didn't answer his question. Which made him even more curious to find out more about her.
"Look...I've gotta get to my dorm. I'll see you later. Maybe we can get some lunch sometime!" he said bashfully.
Onnet dragged his bags to Dorm #1 and entered using the keycard Ulmeyda gave him.

"Yes mother I made to school," Lori murmured with a sigh, absently walking over to the window to pull at the blinds. He rolled his eyes at his mother's reply and continued, "Yeah well you know I'm going to come straight to school never the lesss...no no stop overs, just school" There was a bite of irritation in his voice now. "Look mom I promised already...yes, yes...no more trouble making, no acting out-" He growled and dragged a hand through his hair. "Do we have to go back to what happened in my last school?" A soft wind blew through the open window and he glanced down...students were already milling around the grounds below. When he'd come in a few hours earlier, there were barely ten of them... "Yes mom I promise to do my best...where's dad?" As usual his parents had been too busy to see him off to his new school. It didn't matter; Lori was used to this by now. "..Well tell him goodbye then." He ignored the burning in his eyes as he flung the phone away and walked toward the aquarium, one hand absently tracing the markings on Cecily. "Come on, let's go explore." He slowly pulled her out and wrapped her around his shoulders, walking out of the room.
