The night coloured mare listened, true it was strangely phrased but still. "I would consider yes,” She said to him Chandara trusted in fate. It was fate that brought Sol to her. Perhaps she hadn't truly considered being courted before because she had been waiting on fate to lead her to her soul mate... was it Sol?
By now the sun was getting low in the sky and the breeze had picked up dancing with the blue silver dappled mare's light purple mane. Stars were beginning to shine in the darkest parts of the sky. For a moment Chandara raised her head to the sky and observed the brilliant colours. It was peaceful here.

Okay, good, a good start indeed. The stallion looked up at the gathering darkness and drew some measure of calm from his quiet surroundings. Smiling once more, the pale-coated Ichsa looked back down at his companion and marveled at the beauty she possessed, inside and out. Perhaps this was caprice, perhaps he was a fool but the world was full of fools, and in the end all you had to decide was whether you wanted to be a fool among fools, or a fool alone.
“Chandara... Would you ever consider courting me?” It was simple in the end, quite a lot of things were when it boiled right down to it.

"Fate brought us together to heal eachothers wounds and to find companionship to heal the loneliness we both shared..." She paused for a moment. That must be what she had been feeling. She had become quite attatched to her companion over their journey through Urin.
"You are the only one I'd ever think of courting Sol..." even if they separted down the road she was sure she would never find another like this stallion before her and even if it was to be a a fleeting thing her heart would never allow her to change...

Sol felt his heart turn a backflip and a warm smile spread across his face as he lent over to nuzzle the side of the dappled mare’s face. “I cannot tell you how happy that makes me,” he said, feeling safe in the knowledge that Chandara would be as happy in this change in their relationship as he was. It was hard to believe that not so very long ago he had been traveling the world all alone now that he was beside the beautiful mare.
He remembered Niz then, and Nyx then and the kindness both of them had shown to him while he had been weak. He remembered his journey south in search of Kati and his first sighting of the exquisite creature before him. He remembered finding the twins, and then the Carris he had been seeking and returning to the sea and...
After that memory rushed up to the present day, the present moment in the twilight and under the pale disk of the moon. The warrior wondered at that silver shape, at how its gentle light, its mystery and its undeniable beauty reminded him of the mare beside him. She was like a goddess of that shining orb, he decided as he looked back down at her; she the moon and he the sun but unlike the two heavenly bodies, it seemed that they were not fated to be apart for all time.
The tall Ichsa smiled over at the elegantly made mare once more and hoped it said everything that he couldn’t quite find the words for. Life was good before I met you, he smiled to her, but now, now it is complete.
