Yuck, I know how that goes. I used to do the overnight shift at BK while I was going to school. It was a huge blow to my painting/modeling life, but then I got fired and started binge painting my stuff while I was looking for a job. Now I get off at noon everyday, I'm just too lazy to paint at the moment.

Thats the only way i paint if i start i have just keep going or i won't accomplish anything. Then i get aggrivated because i like them to look good, but not painting regularly leaves me very little painting skills.

Your skills get better as you go, especially during a binge, but yeah, the rest of life can really kill you. Next time you paint try experimenting with different techniques. I figured out some really cool stuff with ink washes while weathering my pirate 'jacks.
