Red followed the purple girl but not so closely. He stayed behind her to study her. He had been around females before but not in a long time. Then again he'd been on his own for a long time now that her though about it. Was that why he felt something odd about her?
He wondered over to the bush and nodded his thanks to the girl. He took a few in his mouth and swallowed them in one gulp.

Andariel wasn't sure what to think of him. He saved her in the water. Then he walks behind her like she isn't good enough to walk near. He confused her so much she was irritable, flicking her tail like a whip.
"Your welcome" she muttered and started to walk off. However she couldn't bring herself to go very far. She hadn't made any friends, hadn't given in to meet any either. He shows up and suddenly she couldn't shake him from her mind. Just nerves she thought to herself to reason the feelings she had. She laid out in a patch of white flowers under the full blaze of the sun drying her damp fur.

Red XIII ate and ate till he was full. "These are good but I need meat...Meh I'll get it tomorrow." He told him self out loud, shook out his fur then licked his muzzle before her noticed that the girl was still here. He thought she wanted to get away from him so why was she hanging around? "Red's the name. Red XIII" He turned around to face her. "Whats your's?"

Everything was so peaceful Andariel almost drifted off to sleep. Almost. Then she heard his voice again which roused her enough to open her eyes partially to glance in his direction. She stared at him a moment then nodded and closed her eyes again. Even if she left she had no where to go. "Seems to suit you" she finally threw out after she seemed to think about it.
The flowers moved to their own dance in the light cool breeze all around her. "I'm Andariel"

"Thanks...I think..." He stared at her wondering what she was thinking. Am I that boring? He wondered.
His flame flickered in the cool breeze. He paddled over to her and lowered his head. He sniffed the top of her head, her sparkling hair stirred something in him. He didn't know what it was but it was little a flicker of an old memory. He talked softly in her ear. "Thats a pretty name"

Opening her eyes she looked up at him with a surprised expression. He was alot closer then she anticipated. His simple words sent her heart pounding. "Thank you" came her small reply, "Red..". Something about his name seemed almost familiar but she was sure she knew no one else let alone one with that name.

He took a step back so he could see her better. "That is my name." He answered her. "It's also a colour but I bet you already know, that don't you?" He chuckled. "So what do you do around here for fun?"

Nods her head, though it wasn't why she felt compelled to say his name. Sitting upright she looked around then to him "I like to swim and climb trees. Something about being up high feels really good" her gaze lifted to the sky to look upon the scattered clouds once more. "I guess it's silly"

He furred his brow. "Very...but if it's what you like." Red highly disliked getting wet and highs didn't bother him but will bother with them if you didn't have too. "We'll then, I guess I'll get going and leave you be." He stretched and turn to walk away.

Andariel eyed him briefly until her gaze was caught on the flame of his tail. "Sure. See ya I guess" she said nonchalantly. Her head shook to get herself to focus. Getting up to all fours she took a look around then started to head towards the berry bushes she had led him too.

"See around then." He said after a time of waiting and watching her as she went to the berry bush. He turned his head and slowly started to walk away through the trees of the dence forest.

Flopping down by the bushes she grabbed one berry and looked it over. She ate it then a few more like it was a strain just to do so. Not sure what her problem was but she couldn't snap out of it. It wasn't a bad day. Turning her head she looked over her shoulder wondering if he was gone already

Red paddled through the thick forest but he didn't get very far before he stopped and turned his head over his shoulder. What was this strange pull he felt to this girl and did he really want to know? He stood there for a time to think it over before he came to the concussion that he didn't want to know and started to walk off again.

Andariel made her way between trees having no idea what or where she would go now. She stopped to look around then remembered what she had planned to do this day before night fell. Finding a good spot in the forest she started digging at the soft ground from a recent rain, feeling sure she could make a burrow big enough by sunset to use for a home.
Digging a few feet she had to stop and sit back a moment, panting. It was harder then she could have imagined and she still had a long way to go.

Red XIII wandered till he found his way to the beach. "Right on this is what I was looking for." He ran along the sandy beach for awhile by the shore line. The sun was still strong but it was easy to tell that it was starting to set.
