"Ophelia." She said and poured two cups of earl grey tea just in case the man changed his mind. "Are you new around here?" She inquiered as she sipped her tea. On the mantle over the fireplace was a clear jar that held three leeches. Ophelia watched them swim with bright eyes.

Had one...Smiled at him? Jason could swear one had turned, into his exact direction, and smirked wickedly. It was unnerving to him, who knew it couldn't possibly have been coincidence. Suddenly his heart was pounding even faster, caused by his new fear that they may try to enter his home, and kill him simply because he had discovered their existence. This he waited on for nearly half an hour and, when no one had snuck up upon him or burst into the door, Jason felt relief set in. His curiosity remained, however. The screams, they were occuring much more often during the night hours. Perhaps he should investigate? It wouldn't be a wise decision, this much was for sure. But, even as he knew this, it still bothered him to stay at home while all this occured just outside. And maybe, just maybe, he could expose wherever they took residence. The authorities could do something about it, right? Jason hoped so.
With that, he crept slowly from the door of his home, keeping wary eyes scanning all around, searching for the slightest movement. Obviously these creatures were everywhere and much more powerful than himself. This was, truly, the most daring thing he'd ever done in his lifetime, powered by his own curiosity. Well, hopefull it didn't kill him. He walked slowly forward.

"Actully I am, I had to flee from my old town. There where one to many hunters and I was the only Vamprey. It was either that or they'd kill me in my sleep.Sadly the only town I got to was this one.Without dying from exashution that is...I guess you've been here quite awhile judging by the state your lovly home is in."

"Yes, at least a hundred years. I shelter other Vampyre like yourself here if they need it. The house has many spare bedrooms. You are welcome to stay if you like." Ophelia said kindly but her eyes still lingered on the swimming leeches. "Lovely arent they?" She whispered to no one in particular.

Jesse's eyes opened. She looked around her, and was relieved to discover she was in her own room of her own home. Breathing a sigh to express her relief, Jesse sat up rubbed her eyes. She had nearly escaped death again. She's been having the same dreams since she was a child, and she can't really tell what it means.
She smiled once she noticed the sky was dark outside her window. Time to go work. Getting out of bed, she quickly threw on some clothes and headed out the door. She didn't like to linger on pointless things like getting dressed when she had more important matters to attend to. There was a mansion she had been watching night after night for the past few years now.
Making her way through the streets rather quickly, she came upon the ancient house. Night after night she's watched this house, and watched the comings and goings of its occupier. She was excited to see one of the windows was emitting a dim glow, due to a fireplace no doubt. She sat in her usual spot under a bush, and continued to watch in silence.

Ophelia knew the girl was there. She could hear her delicate little heart beat in her head everytime she was near. Ophelia never bothered to kill the girl, in fact she was fascinated by the human. She was a brave girl no doubt but must have a reason for snooping around all the time. Ophelia fully intended to discover this reason, but not now for she had company but still she looked over in the girls direction outside the window to let her know that she knew she was there.

"My thoughts exactly. She's done this for quite a while now. Come dearie, I'll show you to your room." Ophelia said as she lit a candle and headed for the stairs. She prefered the soft glow of candles rather than the light of electrical bulbs, they were much too bright.

Ophelia walked up the staris and down the hallway and stopped at the last door on the left. She opened the door to reveal a lovely little room with a queen sized bed with crimson colored sheets. There were heavy black velvet curtains that covered the windows to keep out the sunlight. Ophelia set the candle down on the bedside table. "Here we are. Are you hungry?" She asked, not sure if he had fed tonight or not.

"Are you quite sure, I could bring up a glass if you'd like." She said as she took the decorative pillows off of the bed and put them in the closet. "Of your welcome to join me downstairs if you so wish." Ophelia smiled it was nice to be around other vampyre, her last guest left a year ago and since then Ophelia just bee nwandering the streets at night.

"Wonderful!" She smiled and headed back down stairs. She went into the kitchen and pulled a bag of blood out of the fridge. She pulled out a tea kettle and dumped the blood into it then set it on the stove, which was turned on low. Ophelia couldn't stad drinking cold blood. "So," She asked as she waited for the blood to warm, "How is it you came to posses the dark gift?"
