OMG!! I can't believe they killed off Owen AND Toshiko!! crying crying
Yeah, Owen was kinda predictable, however Toshiko was so unexpected.

It just makes me clueless what could happen in the next series, or if there is a next series?

I'm just speechless. However, Doctor Who is back tomorrow, so that will be awesome!!

Yeah, I thought that alien was the Doctor Who one instantly too!

YES! FINALLY! After this long we know WHY Tosh isn't the Medical Examiner! She was pretending for Owen! MY LIFE NOW HAS MEANING/IS COMPLETE!

Jack is his real name ... but HArkness probably isn't ... Gray doesn't have a last name xd I'd imagine Captain John's name is John but the Harper was added by the Time Agency.

I cried a few times too ... and really, Owen shouldn't die too much xd I mean, can dead skin burn? Can he get Cancer when his Cancer Cells are dead? He shouldn't feel pain at least ...

Watching Torchwood Declassified (one of the only ones I've watched this series ...) And I agree, killing a character off is the hardest job a Script Writer has.

Wow ... the Toshiko "You're breaking my heart" scene was the last one they shot, and she got it like that in one take!

Burn Gorman is saying now "We don't know whether the radiation slowly decomposes him or whether he sneaks off in to the sewers and becomes King of the Weevils", implying he might not be dead. I don't want Tosh to die crying She was my fav!

Now, the question is (which I will set a thread up for) SERIES 3 PREDICTIONS! One is, who will replace them? Will Martha step in, or will there be all new? Will they be employed before the start of the next episode? Will they randomly bump in to the team a couple of times before being hired? Will they go through the first episode of the next series hiring people and then they just die quickly.

Yeah, I didn't have any clue she would die xd

The bit I was REALLY happy about was that they didn't just go "ZOMGZ letZ reverz tiem wid Rift make happy with TosH back!" like they did with Rhys in the first series xd

It shows that the team isn't infallible, they aren't immortal (apart from Jack ... but we know he eventually dies anyway xd Big ol' head in a jar! Unless the whole Face of Boe thing was just a coincidence rolleyes )

So, we know Jack's Brother is alive (sort of) ... what about his Mother? I don't remember hearing about her. If they do something next series with her then I will be ... happy as long as it isn't too much. Also, these creatures ... think they might make an appearance? I can't think of a species that liked to torture from Doctor Who ... The Daleks and Cybermen just killed/converted, the Sontarans invaded and followed military commands only (we shall see this in a few weeks in "The Sontaran Stratagem") and the Judoon are a brute Police Force who just kill, no torture. Not quite sure what they could be, but from the screeches I imagined the "Void Creatures", or "Paradox Parasites" ... Iunno, making up names for them ...

I called her on the phone and she touched herself...

This episode kind of bothered me. I was mad that they killed off both Owen AND Tosh. So sad, that and I heard a rumour that John Barrowman isn't sure if he wants to be a part of the 3rd series. If they get rid of him Torchwood is DONE. It can't go on with just Gwen and Ianto. It'll be hard enough with just Tosh and Owen gone though. I suppose Martha could fill in as the medic. *is rambling*

I dunno, I just thought the ep was weird and very not what I was expecting. I was thinking John Hart was actually going to be all badass. >.>

...I laughed myself to sleep.

Iunno about Barrowman, I think he loves the role of Jack. Torchwood isn't as high on the ratings as Doctor Who, but it still does pretty good.

Owen isn't confirmed dead, we don't know if he's even affected by Radiation or not, all we know is he is trapped in that room. He can't make contact via the Radio 'cause the Radiation will interfere with signals, so he might be back.

Tosh is gone, for sure. It's too bad really, she was my second favourite (First = Jack) It's true, the show would die without Jack. They NEED someone who knows all of the space stuff, someone who's been out there, I mean, they pretty much showed how they fail without him.

Both Dr. Who and Torchwood are carried by a strong lead character. If you take away the Doctor or Jack, the series will turn into ... well, that ridiculous Sarah Jane Adventures or Chronicles or whatever the hell they're calling it. Lame kids' stuff.

The hook to both successful shows is a charismatic humanoid character. He looks human, but doesn't necessarily respond in a human manner, which makes the plots unpredictable. And we love him for it. Sarah Jane tries, but she's ultimately a human, which takes away the main plot device and reduces the show to a 2-D world.

i thought the episode was good (though i didn't like Owen and Tosh dying crying ) i kept think when watching it that Gray should have looked at from Jack's perspective it's not like he left him there because he wanted to
