Finally, Talitha's curiousity overrode her wariness and she drew just barely close enough to try to read the "story". She cocked her head to the side and reread it a few times, trying to figure out what it meant, her ears twitching up and down as she ran the words through her head.

Donnie was staring at the dirt thinking. He added a few letters to his story, and then looked back up at Keahi when he heard his name.
"Hm?" He said, wondering what it was she had said to him. He noticed that both her and the other female seemed confused. He didn't think they would be able to read it. He smiled at them both saying, "You'll be able to read it when it's finished." He then looked over at the yellow and red female. "I don't think we ever got your name..." he said, tilting his head a little.
Story so far:

Keahi watched as he added more letters. Now it seem to make more sense, but she still couldn't tell what it said. It seemed that she will just have to wait until he was done to know what it says. "Nothing," she said to Donnie, with a shake of her head. When he ask for the other's female name, she look over to her to wait her answer.

"Talitha," she replied absentmindedly, still staring at the letters with her ears twitching. Some of them looked like they were words with missing letters. She started trying to guess and fill some of them in. "Beware for the e is coming? ... Crumble? ... A star? ... And all led to your doom? ... ... Who will aid you out of the dark? What does that mean?" she mutteringly tried to stumble through the story, too curious about what it was to realize she was speaking outloud.

"Talitha," Donnie said, trying out her name. "Hm, nice to meet you."
He chuckled as she read his story. She actually did quite a good job of filling in his blanks for him. "That's good..." he said, half talking to Talitha, and half thinking out loud. He leaned down and filled in some more blanks.
Story so far:
"Beware for the t e is coming

who will lead you out of the dark."
Donnie looked at them both, knowing they probably would want an explanation. He didn't really know how to explain. His writing was the result of hallucinations, images, words, voices, things he didn't think other people would understand. He didn't know if it really meant something. Maybe he was just crazy. But maybe it really did mean something. None the less, it did mean something to him.
Finally he said, "I guess you could call it...a vision? A prophecy maybe?" He laughed. "I don't know. It's just a story." He didn't want them to think he was crazy. But maybe they both had stories too, something they were keeping inside, that they didn't think the world would understand. But then again, maybe that was just him.
"So, what about you?" he said to both of them. "You know any stories?"
