“Hmm…” Scratching his chin Rasta glanced over the menu that hung from the ceiling. “All of this is home made? I’m thoroughly impressed. Although, maybe I should wait until I taste it to judge. I’m sure it will taste as good as it sounds.”

Glancing over the sandwich section caused a rumbling sensation to form in his stomach, reminding him how he hadn’t eaten in nearly twenty-four hours. “A regular hamburger would be perfect right now, extra bloody and with bacon, if you don’t mind at all.” It was a pretty low class meal, but he rarely could afford to eat out and a well made burger was a feast in his eyes.

((Idk, I was supposed to go give him some stuff today, but he said his house got broken into. He might be busy explaining the broken back door to his mom right now. She already kicked him out once when they got broken into cause she thought he did it.))

Yawning and blinking his eyes Rasta let his head slowly settle for the bar top. With a deep breath the smell of cooking beef suddenly reached his nose and his nostrils flared, his pupils shrinking down as if he had entered an instinctive predatory state. “Smells awesome!” He yelled back into the kitchen. Glancing around, he noticed that Seth had left one of the new green bottles on the counter.

He knew he probably should not touch it, but that was no match for his child like curiosity. Biting out the rubber seal his nose was met with a barrage of scents and sharp spices. Grabbing a glass from a nearby upside down stack behind the bar, he poured himself a generous portion of the delicious absinthe. He too had read much about its curious history back on the old earth and looked forwards to feeling the tingling hallucinogenic sensation that was associated with the greenish liquor.

“If you really want to know the qualities of a substance I think it’s better to experience it first hand, especially when in suitable company. It may bring out hidden flavors that you did not detect in your initial wafts.” Rasta grinned at her, gesturing towards a stack of glasses near her.

His statement hinted at one of his other hobbies. In an effort to learn more about himself and humans on whole, Rasta had recently begun to do research in pre-Armageddon earth and the cultural traits of human’s worldwide. It just so happens one of the first texts he found relevant to the subject was a wine and liquor magazine, saved to hard disk and snuck past the H.E.C. into Weyard.

Rasta simply shrugged his shoulders. “Suit yourself, but be ready for a thorough description for I intend to thorough taste it and wait for the first few customers to enter while I enjoy the delicious meal you’ve brought me.”

Grinning between a second bite of hamburger he added “Remind me to thank you again later too.”
