A Pretty devastating combo I have played against is Blood Angels and IG. Three tactical squads of his went Black Company along with a razorback and both his dreads. One was a big dread with all the gold s**t on it can't remember exactly what and the other was the Furioso Dread with two dread close combats. That against Tau and Necron who ******** phase out on the second turn kills.

I thought I told you about it? Anyway, for some reason he isn't good at strategy, but with me there to help point out some things here and there we played pretty solidly. I was packing plasma out the a** and he had his railguns and s**t. Our first round we fought against Chaos, I don't remember if we beat them or not, but we killed their two Greater Daemons by turn two. 3nodding They were pissed.

Awesome. In the last edition codex, blood rage made it so easy to mess with Khorne players.

If I were to imply a romantic Yoai homosexual relation between you and him, I'd say so instead of making vague stabs at it. Still, pretty amazing that you got in third with him.

Yeah we mesh pretty well. I was able to die in the frontlines while the Tau gave covering fire, so it worked pretty well. Plus his Tau are great at tieing people up in close combat. O_o For some reason. They won't do well, but they won't die either. His commander in a battlesuit almost beat a chaos lord in close combat 1 on 1.

I say Necrons and Grey Knights would work well together.

Xenos Mortium Imperial Guard and Tau. Just hope that the enemy doesn't get close. with that much firepower i dont think anything could get close ... easily, in any case Sgt_OBrien Yeah we mesh pretty well. Chaos Space Marines, of basically any kind, and hordes of Orks. The Chaos player acts as a specialist force while the Orks just go. And kill. A lot.

Imperial Guard and Space Marines. These two armies take full advantage of the 5th edition and complement one another perfectly.

Very true. The way I see it, I'd have the Guardsmen hold back on "Garrison" duty and lay out strafing fire with the tanks while the Marines surge forward and breach lines. Your thoughts on the combo?

Exactly, or go down the unexpected road and deploy Valkyries with storm troopers while Marines anchor the line.

Ah, I can see how that would cause serious issues to Meqs. Or Melta-spam Veterans.

Odd as it might seem, tau and orks. Firepower and melee on the extremes.
