Cynder noticed the organization of the fighters musing to herself how much decency revenge would bring her. She prepared her gullet with liquid flame ready to spew and flare her enemies with a single blink of an eye. They were mortals compared to her, mere play toys her teeth would satisfy tearing in two when she finally made contact. Holding a cynical smile upon her vicious maw, she dove inward at Bai using her tail to strike evenly knocking the young adult mare into a falter.

Swinging her weapon she came inches within Bai's range heading upward to avoid the crazed mother whom she was sure was charging at that point.

Pulling herself upward higher she lingered there, taunting and grinning all the while, "Poor dears.... Hsien has placed you in danger hasn't she? Tsk tsk... shame on you foolish mare whom is grounded with no wings. You should prepare yourselves for I intend to taste my sweet victory. She let her fangs show even more as her eyes glinted with another advance that sparked her vicious nature, "Perhaps.... you should of given me the blue rodent, maybe then I wouldn't have sought your life that will stain my cloven hooves." Smirking she gazed over at Spyro musing over his fun he was experiencing. Still a hatchling yet he had potential in her eyes as something much more. Chasing that thought from her head she prepared her next assault...

Hsien sidestepped so quickly that her form rattled to intercept Cynder's attack as she dove downward. The mare clenched her teeth together realizing the blades of the lashing weapon had grazed her shoulder with a fairly minimal slice. She had already gained a scar this day knowing full well there would be more. Though it stung and seared she stood in front of Bai gazing occasionally over at her mate and son. She wanted them safe and here they were engaging within a deadly battle. Hsien couldn't of had the worst timing in raising a family, having to deal with two creatures from the fiery depths of Hell.

As she was veering upward to strike at Cynder with eyes seething and determined, a small fox bolted over the hillside behind them skidding to a halt by Hsien's side. Her breath was ragged but her eyes sparkled with an awe inspiring determination. She quickly fixed her tall yellow hat that was drooping ever so slowly before she finally spoke, "Hey there Hsien... miss me?" She was being herself of course, fun and comical before battle. Mei-ling did love a good fight, especially by Hsien's side.

Hsien though angered and full of loathing let her smile curve her maw with happiness. Her familiar had showed up just in time, "Mei-Ling...I won't ask where the hell you've been," she snorted with a jovial comical tone, "but we have a little set of problems that need dealt with... and now!". Her head was swerving toward her mate, "Qin and Zi... be wary and alert! Protect Martin for that purple male has targeted him!" She turned back to Mei-ling with her eyes narrowing, "Ready for a fight my sister?"

Mei-Ling shook her head as her little paws danced upon the ground, the jingling of her bracelets fitting her mood and alertness, "You know it! Bring it on you scaly beasties! Try to hurt Hsien.... you deal with me!" Looking at the black b***h of a dragon she growled and stood upright near Hsien's side. "Let's kick some serious dragon butt!"

Bai pawed her hooves at the ground before galloping behind the Kalona, she may have been momentarily paralyzed by the seriousness of what was happening but wasn't going to take it anymore.

"Hey Sulfur breath...leave my mother alone...you cannot deal with an assault from two sides..."

She was prepared to take flight the moment the black kalona went after her, giving her mother the chance to strike. Keeping opponent off balance was the key to victory.

Cynder evaluated her situation and Spyro's feeling something was just not clicking easily within her mind. It seemed this mare had calculated the attack as making it simple and hardly a challenge. This would not do! No Cynder had another idea, a sort of "opossum game" so to speak. How easily it was to trick lesser species even if they stood out in their intelligence. But what to comply and set into motion the black b***h of a dragon contemplated. Hsien was her main threat, that male she hooked up with was a complete moron. The key to this successful maneuver would be tricky but it would play in the dragon's favor. Deciding her motive she turned toward Spyro hissing, "I have an idea I think you'll like.... come hither and hear me." She waited patiently as he approached then spoke her vicious little plot, whispering it in his ear with a cruel smirk.

Hsien felt something change, her withers twitching with a bit of anxiousness. She watched the b***h as ebony as night calculate and scheme her situation with possibilities to what she would do next. The gleam in the demon's eyes sent Hsien into a stolid mood pulling herself closer to Bai with her chest heaving. Turning quickly to Bai she spoke sternly, "Bai... be on your guard for something bad is about to happen. I will not leave your side so worry not. But, if worse should come to worse I bade you my daughter, flee and take your brother and father with you. Two enemies are not what I had calculated in this battle. Promise me Bai!" She turned to notice the dragons conversing their evil plot, standing hard in her stance as she waited for Cynder to go after her daughter again.

Hearing her son call out triumphantly in a mockery to the purple beast, Hsien felt a bad shiver that nearly made her spook. Something wasn't right at that moment. She couldn't place a hoof on it but Hsien knew blood was going to be shed somehow. Anxiously her eyes darted to Qin and Martin then back to the dragons still in the sky. She felt Mei-Ling near her side which brought back those old combative feelings when they fought in the past. "Mei-Ling! Get them out of here if I fall. Don't let them fall in my ignorance." Breathing with a snort she pawed the ground protecting Bai with all she had.

Mei-ling blinked up at Hsien feeling a bit of regret in the mare's voice. Hsien was always certain when she went to battle. She was never unbalanced nor unfocused when danger this high was looming. Was Hsien truly afraid this day? Mei-ling frowned at the thought that her sister was becoming weak due to having a family and settling down. No! Hsien would never be a coward, she'd fight to the death if need be. But in honor of her dearest companions request she simply nodded, "Alright Hsien." Those words of doubt and unsure moments were plain and simply seen in that worriment that covered the vixen's eyes over with uneasiness.

Cynder broke away from Spyro then began her attack. No rebuttal was given or taunt was responded to the parties challenging mockeries of her and Spyro. The time was now! Swooping upwards she made her target of Bai while her cynical grin never left her maw, then she swept downwards in full force as a stream of flame erupted from her muzzle separating the mother and daughter. As each scattered from one another Cynder swerved toward Bai, then changed direction and headed directly at Hsien as she lashed her tail beneath her. "It ends now mare!" she hissed coming straight at the mare she loathed from that day. Impacting with her body she rolled Hsien off her feet with a slash of her tail. Then reached downward to grab the helpless mare by the shoulder carrying her further away. She had been right all along that Hsien wasn't as smart as she thought she'd like to be.

Hsien never saw it coming as she focused upon her daughter. The weight of the kalona was too much as she felt herself stumble and fall. Thrashing to return to her footing, the warrior mare felt something grab her shoulder and begin dragging her off. The pain was searing in her shoulder so badly as she felt herself bleeding rather quickly in the clamped dragon's mouth.
Remembering her days with Mei-ling she shuddered feeling her legs go numb from blood loss. Was she fading from her family, no she wouldn't leave them. She'd never abandon her mate and children for she loved them dearly to her heart. But, the urge to rest was overcoming her as the kalona bit down harder with her prize.

Mei-ling didn't see it either as she screamed in a high pitched yelp, "Hsien! Oh god noooooooooooooooooo". Her eyes darting to to Martin and Qin. "Get the hell out of here! This is bad, really bad!" Scrambling she went after Cynder with a fiery hatred. Hsien.... please don't leave us... hang in there brave sister."

( Chai please next time WAIT to respond to this rp since your stallions are up against spyro well where in any case =/...........it messes up the whole rp when you switch things around in the middle of it when you respond at random -sighs-)


Spyro grinned wickedly as the fools now had their attention on Cynder and the other pathedic lesser. using that moment of distraction, he landed heavly on the ground behind them and snarled. " don't you think you should watch yourself instead of others?" snearing he lunged at martian with the intention of geting a hold of his neck and biting into him then taking him down to the ground. the father was no big deal in his eyes and he would take him out next as he would not allow Cynder to get teamed up on as he would look horrible in her eyes for allowing it.

"This is bad...this is really bad...mother is captured..."

Bai was frightened beyond belief at what had transpired. The Kalona were indeed ferocious beasts. It made her uneasy.

Spyro snarled and hissed as he was froced to be pushed back and away from his victums having let go of martian after being pushed abck a second time. bareing fangs with flared out wings, he growled with his attetion on the bigger threat. " you got no busness being here you over grown bird. that b***h of a mare is no mate of mine, just a comrade and we shall see who will be dieing today." tail lashing, he circled around the male who disrupted him and glaced over at cynder who seemed in a bad situation too. snarling to himself it seemed things where geting out of hand and when things got out of hand he was one to leave, regroup and launch another attack at a better time but cynder wouldn't be quick to agree to his thinking. mind buzzing with what he could do to get out of this nasty situation he at first wanted no part of but was tricked into, he debated on ether fleeing with or with out cynder or staying, fighting a foolish battle that looked like they wouldn't win.

Martin struggled up, blearily looking around to see why the purple dragon had let go of him. He could feel the wounds in his neck bleeding, but not to heavily. What he was more concerned about was his leg. He looked down, and saw it was mangled and bloody. His face went white from blood loss, but he hobbled towards Qin on three legs.


Qin cantered over to Martin and looked over his son. "You'll live, but that leg concerns me." He said simply. He wouldn't coddle Martin and tell him that everything would turn out fine, as he couldn't promise anything. He untied the sash from around Martin's waist and tied it tightly around his son's leg. "That'll hold for now, but we'll need to get some real bandages on that leg." He grinned weakly, and tried to crack a joke, "Besides, Kiun is going to kill us when he finds out he has to wash AND repair your sash again." The grin became more sincere when he heard Martin laugh.

Zi was thrown off the dragon when she whirled around, and skidded a few feet. She was unharmed however, but breathing hard. Warily she eyed the new comers, but was pretty sure that they were on her side, as they had saved Hsien and Martin. She coughed a few times, and called out, "Who are you?"
