I'm thinking of agreeing with Heath here. Pegasus are hard to use because of their vulnerability, wyverns are just so much better!
So. The entire wyvern tree for one.
I'm a fan of dark magic, though some standout sages like Pent crop up in my magic ratings.
I seem to be one of the only people however to love Heroes. Highly durable. Fast. Strong. Resistant. You know the map where you get Vaida in FE:7? Raven soloed the middle path there without using a single healing item. Went through two axes of course, but still amazing.

I never give Heroes guit- axes. I don't know why I was going to say Guitars.
If you want awesome for Guy, Get his supports with Matthew and Rath. And then give him a killing edge and Nils' little Set's litany and you WILL GET OVER 100 CRITICAL RATE.
Be suer to give a body ring to Canas, though.

The problem is that I never use thieves at the end (save Jaffar, but he's an Assassin). Matthew's cool, but his growths just aren't great.
Priscilla, on the other hand, gives Avoid as a bonus. Just stick Guy in some woods with Priscilla nearby--he can't be hit! (Plus I use Priscilla through endgame.)
Yeah, I usually give at least one ring to Canas. I have the Mario Kart: Double Dash link cheat working for me, so I get more than one.
Oh yeah, and to make Generals faster, I always give them Boots and Speedwings to help 'em out.

I would say the thieves and their promotions because I am usually drawn to the characters that are faster in attacking speed. Too bad their str is a let down but that's a thief for ya.
Myrmidons are probably better because they are fast and are stronger than thieves so it's between those 2.
Archers also get my favorites because they are similar to thieves and such but long-ranged. But the in RD the double bow being blessed is truly a blessed weapon ...Just made my Rolf too good to be considered an archer
( I mean come on, the double bow can still counter EVEN ON ADJACENT UNITS!)

You're not the ONLY one who loves Heroes, Kent. They're my favorite MELEE class by far (I just happen to like magic more, although it's in less supply xp )! Seriously, what FE game DOESN'T have a super-pwnful Hero class in it? FE6-Dieck (AND Oujay) FE7-RAVEN (one of my favorite FE characters)!!! (And Harken's pretty good himself) FE8-Gerik FE9-Ike? FE10-Ike Heroes can take on armies at a time it seems like! And they can use axes with good Hit, too! It would seem I'm the only person unimpressed by Shamans/Druids though... Sure, I love Canas for his character (another one of my favorites) and he seems pretty good for a Druid (I still remember my first playthrough getting Eclipse to land on the Dragon biggrin ), but just about all other Dark Magic users fail to impress me (how coincidental that Canas's son use Anima wink ). Seriously though: Knoll, Niime, Sophia? No thank you. (Rei and spoilers?( Pelleas) are alright I guess). sad And Thunder costs as much as Flux per use (700 for 35 uses and 900 for 45 uses respectively yields 20 gold per use for both), yet Thunder weighs less, is actually STRONGER then Flux, and has a 5 Crit bonus. Go Canas, I guess.

Raven's really good! It's just that I can't seem to put him to really good use in the final chapter. It's like he's a jack-of-all-trades, master of none, so that the really powerful morphs (such as Uhai and Lloyd) can own him.
(Gerik's also pretty good; I just don't care to use him for some weird reason.)
And Ike is just... a MONSTER. The only time I have EVER seen him truly die is when he was taken down by no less than three red dragons and Ashnard at the same time.
Knoll sucks. That's why it's better to raise Ewan. (Of course, that's if you abuse the Tower of Valni or the monster battles.) Too bad all FE9/FE10 has is anima and light... (Is there really someone from FE10 who can?)

Did you ever get Mario Kart: Double Dash? When I got it, I also received a bonus disk along with it. If you use the bonus disk and connect your GBA to the Gamecube with the game link cable, you can bring over a ton of stuff (and you can get the stuff for EVERY FILE!). You need to be at a certain (early) chapter of Eliwood's or Hector's story before you can get it, though. I think you need Merlinus first just so you can store it all. Among the things included are power-ups (one of every kind), special weapons (not that strong, but very durable), and a Silver Card (reduces prices in half).

Spoilers for Rhys!: While going through RD the second time, you gain the dark magic of Pelleas. He is fairly good as well.
Ewan is one of the most amazing Druid/Summoner because of the speed he can gain over 50 levels.
But I've always had good RNG I suppose. Canas always has good stats all around for me and critical hits either Nergal or the Fire Dragon(or both) nearly every game with Luna.
Knoll I never really used as I was busy with Ewan, people say he's a really good Druid/Summoner however.
I don't know if you can consider Ike a Hero class. He can't use axes. I remember I was so excited the first time I played PoR because I thought Griel was going to be a Hero jeigan(sp?). It didn't even matter if he was a jeigan, he was a Hero!

You spelled it right, Kent. Has any ever seen Jeigan's stats/growths? They SUCK a**.
I don't know why Griel wanted to use a sword over n Axe, although he could easily win with an Axe. Seemed stupid to me.

When using mages, my second favorite class, they always get killed when every single possible enemy that can attack attacks them, while at the same time, counterattacking at all of those attacks, thus inducing more damge. ; -; (Wow that was a long runoff. xD )
Rolf always did wonders for me, having high Avoid, Atk, and Def, and not being RNG-screwed.
They also get to use the awesome, though somewhat limited, ballistae. :'D

That reminds me of a terrible experience... When I attempted RD hard mode, there was a point where my Volug was holding a swarm of generals at a choke point. He kept killing them and accumulating damage. Finally he was down to like 10 hp, a general hit for 6 damage, and Volug's speed wasn't enough to kill him. Thank goodness. Then a sage came down with his Bolganone tome and killed him. RESET.

My favorite class? That's so hard to choose...
I mainly play FE7 and FE8, so this is mainly from that. XD
I would have to say Hero, Sage, and/or Druid.
Heroes have always been really...good. For me. Just...all around good. I guess. whee
Sages are just cool. And druids are fun because I like dark magic.
I'm starting to really like the Swordmaster-type-tree-thing and the Soldier/Halberdier/Sentiniel classes too. As I start playing FE9 and FE10 more. sweatdrop
I sort of have a grudge against fighters/warriors, though.....because they always have the worst defense...for me...
