Haruki roared with laughter when he saw the young boy go down. "Your rather clutches aren't cha." He managed to yelled out as he reached the waters edge and dove right in. The lake was very deep almost from the get go. The brown minya opened his wings and used them to help him swim under water. He held his breath as he waited for the boy beneath it's surface.

"What do you mean by 'clutches'?!" Hideaki splashed through the water. He paused before he got too far, however, and looked at the deeper water in caution. He'd never learned how to swim, and he didn't want to risk any sort of harm. He could be reckless at times, but he wasn't stupid enough to risk drowning.

Haruki could hold his breath for a long time but not forever. He wasn't a fish he needed air, his muzzle opened and he lost all his bubbles. So the bat like minya used his wings and paws to help him swim back up to the surface. He broke through the water and took a deep breath of air to refill his lungs.
