Green eyes narrowed, peering through scars that remained from life past, a last look at the blue creature before him.
"The only one who ever could have, Mrost, god of war."
The last words he cared to speak, the last time he cared to look on the blue creature that had once been his son, Tanaka turned, striding away from the lion, leaving him with whatever thoughts tormented his mind.
There was nothing more to offer, nothing to say. For whatever children he may have had, the god of conflict, their father had perished, forever lost, perhaps that was how it should be. And yet it may not have been so easy, the god might have felt pity were he so inclined, might have felt anger had he known the loss himself.
There was nothing for him to feel, only that he no longer wished to look upon that blue hide. He did not look back, spared no parting words, he simply walked on, there was nothing left here.

-Mrost. God of war.
The name filed away in his memory, etching it's place in his subconcious even though he knew not what to do with it. Perhaps one day it would be useful, but for now... it was simply a word that repeated over and over in his head, trying to block out the other thoughts.
Eyes turning, his paws picked up pace once more, pulling him further and further from the familar stranger as he dared not to look back anymore.
His memory still twinged with the similar departure from his mother, and as his brother's words echo'd again in his mind, he whispered a similar farewell.- "Goodbye ... father.."
-Body beginning to limp as muscles tensed from the wounds, his eyes pierced the horizon, searching for the other half of his soul. He was alone now, absolutely and utterly alone. All he had now was Matsai, and he would not let him go.-
