Liquid dark blue sapphires lifted themselves to stare at Xiaoshang. Was it curiosity or kindness that compelled the question? He wasn't quite sure that either was proper, but he couldn't tell for sure. Still, the thought panged at him. He couldn't remember, not anything at all... but why? Why... it made no sense.
"Nothing..." he returned solemnly.

Unfortunatly for Temeraire, the other male's questions were simply drove by curiosity. He was far from cold, but Xiaoshang only cared about himself unless someone sparked a particular interest of his and grew on him, which would take quite awhile. However whatever his motives were, there was no mistaking that he was driven to help the dark male - even if it was for his own selfish reasons.
"Very interesting." He spoke again, as if Teme was some sort of test subject. "Perhaps you had a traumatic past... or hit your head on something. How far back can you remember?" Xiao asked, green eyes staring at him with an odd fascination.

His ears flicked forward for a moment in thought before they pushed back again, "Only a few weeks I suppose." It was a very thoughtful answer, well said and considered, even for it's shortness. Temeraire obviously had something in his past that was suddenly gone, and for the life of him, he didn't know what it was.
It seemed peculiar, but Temeraire had always been interested in peculiar things, especially ones about him. It might have seemed conceited, but really... at the heart... what kind of person didn't want to know about themselves? Very few.

"Hmmm..." The dragon-kitsu pondered for a moment, taking his long whiskers into his digits and rubbing them outward. "So it happened recently. Do any parts of your head ache? Like if you touch a specific area, lay on it too long, or perhaps when you think too hard about your past?" Xiaoshang asked.
