"I keep my heart safe and tell no one where it is." She nodded slowly, almost smirking. There was one out there somewhere who might have an idea as to where she kept it... But even he would have to work to undo the locks and find himself in her good graces again. "I spend much time on my own."

"Sometimes its good to let someone have it, better to have loved than not at all." he smiled weakly. He watched her for a moment. "I do too." he admitted. "Though I can say I'd rather enjoy the pleasantries of conversation." he nodded as he looked at the egyptian. "Names Adonis, I think I have forgotten to mention it."

"A wise choice." he responded. His eyes looked to the clearing up ahead. "Would you want to take a walk Bast, and perhaps talk about other things that are less dreary?" he rose a brow at the egyptian mare. In his eyes she beat out Erik's love any day. Sekhmet was that her name? She had a nasty attitude to go along with it. He tried not to think of her as much, he would admit she was pretty. But pretty mares didn't get far with him if they had poor attitudes.
