The stallion's hesitation to her question was interesting, and she could only stare for a moment while shaking her head with a smile. "Your mother is a grown female, I think you would be surprised that she would be just fine without your guidance! I mean, you can still visit her whenever you want, but there is something nice about being independent and on your own.." Maybe Haggai didn't really know much about it?
"I can understand from experience, its hard to take the splurge to leave your parents once you get older. And for you, you grew up with your mother, and also by yourself.. so maybe I don't understand myself." She paused then while correcting herself, and hoping to find some revelation to the situation. "Ok, so maybe I am wrong in the end." Pfft, and that rarely happened! "But you know? Being on your own still rocks, even I can vouch for that."

"er...." What was he suppose to say to that? She had just clearly assumed she knew all about his life and made it all seem better or try to and without doubt fail!
"Right because my mother wasn't able to live without me before she had me could she?" He wasn't impressed. "I want to watch out for her, she doesn't need me as such but she will do something stupid." More and more excuses.
"I would love to live on my own but realistically it doesn't look very likely to happen!" More and more excuses. Though he did want to live by himself he just didn't want to be alone and so he made more and more excuses as to why he was staying with his mother.

With a quite sight, the mare lazily moved herself so she was resting her body against a tree. "Goodness, you are a strong opponent, aren't you?" Haggai just didn't feel like backing down, but this conversation was most definitely amusing for the mare. Was everything he was saying true? Betina refused to believe such, since he was clearly saying whatever came to mind.
"We all have our reasons for whatever we do, and it is not my business to keep prying." she then said, with a kind nod. "Why don't we talk about something else." Though, the mare was a bit concerned on what, since the stallion was very closed in what he enjoyed in life. Taking a moment to think about it, Betina tried to think about her family members and what they enjoyed. "What's your favorite season, Haggai?" There, it was a start, wasn't it? He HAD to answer that question somehow, since her past flying questions led to some odd answers.

Haggai was starting to get this rather strange feeling that she could see straight into him and it unnerved him somewhat. He was wondering if his lies were convincing her in the slightest. This strange feeling of someone being able to see right into him was making him uncomfortable though he allowed the conversation to continue, she seemed determined after all.
"Spring. It's beautiful." He did adore the spring it was best flying season as well. The summer was too hot and winter too cold and autumn was a bit unpredictable so spring it was.
"What about yours?"

"I agree," she then added, while bouncing her curls a bit. "Though I am looking forward to summer as well, I have heard so much about it, and it happens to be right around the corner! I am a winter baby and all, so its a new experience for me." Born and raised in the snow, Tina knew that she could handle anything after such a harsh winter. But apparently, summer was intense in its own way, and Tina couldn't wait to see why her parents and siblings said such things about it.
She had to admit, she was a bit surprised at herself, since usually she had another question or witty response to follow up anything she said. But she was just as quiet in front of this stallion, and it was probably because she was just as confused about his lifestyle. "I have asked you quite a few questions.." she then admitted, while shaking her head with a laugh. "Do you have any questions for me?" Hey, it was something to ask, right! "Or am I too easy to figure out? I have been told that before." she grinned while moving herself away from the tree again, while slowly bouncing towards the stallion.

Haggai nodded most of his information on the seasons were from his mother and he probably wasn't much older then this female then again she could even be older then he was. Yes better off to pretend one is older then they are!
"Easy to figure out? Is anyone? Though I would happily assume all you have been doing is trying to figure me out, yes?" There we go, three questions at once even if two of them weren't really for her to answer. It was the most he had said however she was now bouncing? What an interesting female she was.

"Well," she then stated, while furrowing her brow in thought, "I am trying to figure you out because, you are being quite difficult with returned information. Maybe that is just your personality, but on my side of the spectrum, it is hard to respond!" But, Betina wouldn't give up! It seemed like this stallion was toying with her now, but she was hardly worried.
"Ah well, do you find my efforts as worthless?" she turned her attention back on the stallion's eyes, and shook her head in a cute grunt. "Or do you think I am dumb for trying so hard? I am just a friendly person, its what I do."

Haggai laughed, a strange thing for him but still he couldn't help but laugh at her. The rather cute way she spoke just made the situation more amusing then what she was saying already was.
"You are a friendly person and I clearly am just very difficult to figure out or I am just boring which is most likely to be true!" He smiled again, proud at how he put himself down in a rather amusing way. At least he thought it was amusing anyway, Betina probably wouldn't find it amusing.

"Well your hardly boring." she then admitted, while brushing her mane out of her eyes. "You've kept me entertained, so that's good at least. But." She sighed somewhat, before rolling her eyes a bit. This HAD to have been a game for the stallion, and she just didn't like that at all.
"I'm all about being nice, but I won't put up with games that will lead to disrespectful behavior." From the way things were going, she was starting to get worried about belittlement or something. Maybe this stallion just had no idea how to act? Betina then sighed again exhaustedly, before shaking her head. "Pity on me."

He was confused now though he really didn't want to admit it. Maybe he had just managed to confuse himself, most likely.
"Games? What games?" He was honestly rather confused, had they been playing a game because if they had he hadn't realised which then made him feel rather foolish. Oh how could they have been playing a game that he didn't even know about.
"I am sorry if I have been disrespectful." Had he? He wasn't sure. Oh the confusion.

"Ack." she then said, with slanty eyes. "Now I have made you completely confused. I guess we should just start over in topic?" She molded her frown into a small smile, and she shook out her mane one last time. "Alright Haggai, I will stop making accusations that make no sense. That's out of character of me.. and I shouldn't do it anyways."
Eh, everyone made mistakes, right? "So, I myself am someone who is very complex. I love detail in life, my family, and summertime! I love the beach, flowers.. and cute animals! I am just an easy-going gal.. so I apologize if I examined you too much. Maybe its just a bad habit, I really have no idea."

He nodded, starting over seemed to be a good idea.
"It's okay really, I guess I am just not use to it. I am not really that social as I am sure you have managed to work out already. I guess as long as my mother is okay not much else really matters to me." There he admitted he was far from social and that his mother was the only thing important to him. He looked like an idiot but oh well.

"You know, its ok that you care for your mother that much." she then said, maybe even with a hint of jealousy. Her parents had raised her to be incredibly independent, so that she wouldn't come crawling back for any reason. They had created a distance in the children by raising them to do just fine on their own. Maybe his mother had done the opposite? "Its good to care for something in life, and at least you know yours! We are all trying to find things that are important and that matter to us, so I guess I can understand." Everybody had their own minds for that specific reason!

Haggai was a little shocked by what she said but nodded in agreement. "Yes I believe you are right. Do you have anyone who means a lot to you?" He hoped he wasn't being too forward now but he was curious and he can settled a little with her being around. She wasn't that bad really.

"Means a lot to me.." she then mumbled, while shaking her head in dismay. Of course her family meant a lot to her, but she had already described that plenty at this point of their conversation. What ever did Haggai mean? She had no one in particular, since he was quite fond of caring for his mother. "Yeah, I don't think so." she finally said, with a head tilt. "I care about everyone equally.. I wonder if that makes me dumb.." after finishing her words, she chuckled to herself once again with a smile. "Like I said, I worry too much over everyone."
