Ororo blinked and slowly shook his head, his face blatantly showing an expression of embarassment. "My mother takes great pride in her appearence, so she really only hunts for prey that doesn't bleed much and isn't smelly. Since fish are a bit gross, she didn't put much effort into teaching me or my siblings how to fish." Saying that, he raised his head. "Don't get me wrong, she is a great mother..." He chuckled. "She's just very careful with what she eats."

"Huh... Well... Should we try something else then? There's birds and... well, hares..." Chikala said and then immediately stopped. Oh gracious! He had been hunting for food for Himself. Stupid! She was practically offering to catch his food for him, and that... well, her parents had taught her that that was something just not done.
She looked away, the white fur on her face darkening slightly. "I'm sorry, you probably wanted to do that on your own and I'm imposing," she said with a short little laugh.

Ororo was very confused at this point. So at first she was offering to help, and now she wasn't? The white and pink leopard didn't know quite what to make of it all. "You know...I'm not all that hungry anyway. I think I'll just head home and take a nap." He then gave a polite bow of his head. "It was nice meeting you Chikala."
With that, Ororo began sniffing the air in order to locate the family den. He felt bad for leaving the lioness so abruptly, but he really needed to get home and tell his mother about this meeting. His social skills had pretty much failed him, and he really wanted to improve them. Hopefully, next time he met Chikala, he wouldn't be a social trainwreck.
(( surprised Finished? I'm up for another RP whenever you are. heart ))
