No, not really, but in American you can pretty much do it and get away with it unless of course your trespassing. Um question. Who's doing this now?

I'm in canada, same free speach rights though. now why exactly is it not ok? and no one is doing it as far as i know although i was thinking about doing it.
question did you convert to satanism or something sense we last meet.

Lazarus The Resurected
Yeah i am. the correct term is Satanist. now please note it's not about worshiping the devil as christianity sees him but more about understanding that my basic instincts are naturally part of being human rather than the sins the church tells me they are.
Actually the Bible says that the natural man is sinful, because of the whole fall of adam and eve the whole human species is supposedly inherited a blood curse/ or genetic disorder that makes us resort to animalistic like behavior. But yeah because we're intelligent we're so morally and conceptually evolved we like to think of ourselves as higher than animals. I hope you don't think I'm trying to convert you from whatever path you've chosen to take, I'm just throwing in my two cents.

So question dude when did you actually convert to satanism? and also what caused you to convert? I mean I think I know the answer to the last question, but just to clarify do you mind answering it?

Um yeah i think that has been well established. i converted when i began reading the satanic bible. i figured "know thy enemy" turns out it didn't need to sway me at all i agreed with it when i started reading it. it was a revelation to me that i was a satanist. but from all the stuff i've posted in here i guess i should have seen it coming.

and satanism allows for mans rightfull place among the animas. which since we are genetically linked to them is where we belonged in the first place. orriginal sin and the erasure thereof is just mythologicaklly placing humans higher than they should be and making them feel they are better than all other creatures.

Are you referring to Jericho?

I think that the "God's people" just used YHWH as an excuse to do shitty stuff to people they didn't like.

I was actually refering to an instance in samuel(i think i'll double check-yeah i still have my bible) in which God ordered the wholesale, genocide of an entire group of people. right down to the animals thes people kept. they were later punished because instead of following this order they slaughtered the people and kept the animals. i'll find out the name and exact circumstances.

Lazarus The Resurected
oh i found something to start printing up the leaflets.

The Nine Satanic Statements
Satan represents indulgence instead of abstinence.
Satan represents vital existence instead of spiritual pipe dreams.
Satan represents undefiled wisdom instead of hypocritical self-deceit.
Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates.
Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek.
Satan represents responsibility to the responsible instead of concern for psychic vampires.
Satan represents humanity as just another animal species, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of its “divine spiritual and intellectual development,” has become the most vicious species of all.
Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification.
Satan has been the best friend the Church has ever had, as it has kept it in business all these years.

sooo - hold on - back to the story about God anihillating an entire culture...what was the point of that? Like what was ur point for putting it in your comment?

now I have a few questions about the 9 statements
1) what are spiritual pipe dreams?
2) what is hypocritical self deceit?
3) who are the people considered ingrates?
4)what is the purpose of vengance - what does it solve?
5)...!!psychic vampires!!?? what's that all about?
6)How do you know satan AKA sins, have kept the church in buisness?

teh point of that is that the same god who tells his people "love thy neighbour" also ordered his folowers to destroy an entire nation and thus said god is a hypocrite which likns nicely into an answer for question 2. but i'll get back to that.

1. a pipe dream:A vain dream that will never happen, given the harsh reality of life. so spiritual pipe dreams would be putting faith in something that isn't real or beneficial to ones self.

2.li'm not goiong to bother with defining the term because it should be apparent if not look up the two terms seperately.

3.the ingrates are thos uppon whome your efforts are wasted. being nice who never reciprocates or dosen't deserve it is useless because they are simply taking and taking and not greatful for the help.

4. Vengance solves a s**t-load more than standing and taking the hits time after time. case in point; the Christian way: "if someone smiteth your left cheek turn him your right as well" or the Satanist way: "if someone smiteth your left cheek, SMASH him on his right" . as you can see my way gets results the a*****e who hit you won't be doing it twice without seriously considering the consequences.

5. read the book. it defines it in there. basically a person who uses guilt and coersion to manipulate someone else.

6. are you really sure you want to know. i understand the christian failure to accept logic when presented but i'll tell you anyway. without sin there is no need for God. without consequence there is no need for God. so basically without the idea of Satan and the concepts of sin and hell. why would people need to be going to church for forgivness? the church keeps pews filled through fear. fear of what will happen if one does not attend.

In response to number 6, I agree. It's like Neil Gaiman says. "There must be a Hell... it is Heaven's dark reflection... Hope and despair. Salvation and damnation."

Thanks for your thourough responses. I understand that ALOT of people go to church out of fear. Especially the catholics. But not only the catholics. And that alot of people attend church because they "HAVE" to. But honestly I love going to church for the worship. I could go just for the first half of service go home and be okay with everything. I can read and learn in my own time. But i like learning from the pastor. I dont always agree but I like to learn. I understand now what you mean by the hypocritical self deceit. But from experience i know that vengence solves nothing. Thats how wars get started. Wars that could have ended years ago. That lasted hours longer than they needed to. I am new to christianity - barely over a year. So i dont know everything that the Protestant bible says. I'm working on reading through it. So i cant really soak in everything to compare it to my knowledge since i have such a lack of it. But i'm sure that their has to be an explanation to God's reason for the "hypocritical deceit". And as a Chrsitian i would consider you an ingrate. Seeing as Jesus died for you.

Anyway - thanks for this insight.

well i'm glad that at least one christian on here dosen't hate me. and i'm glad i could give you an insight. i remember the first year or so in the chuch. it was good times.

by the way jesus didn't die for me he died for herressy and blasphemy. in short he died for an idea. so yeah he was i guess a martyr. but i don't accept thjat he is salvation mostly because there is nothign in this world that i realy want to be saved from.

I was thinking about it and...I don't go to church out of fear. I go 'cause there's a God, and he loves me, and there's nothing better for me in this world but to grow in him and learn more about him. 'cause, really, what more can you do? And it's not a question of his existence, to me. I'm not blindly following him, I just...have experienced him. It's something you can't put into words. I could try, but it would just be cheesy and naive sounding.

Anyways, I don't hate you either. That makes two.

I was wondering. Why did you (and Galad) decide to join a guild called "Jesus Freak's Hangout"?

umm when i joined i was still going to church i was devoted enough to the cause to have a cross permenantly tattooed onto my arm and it's big enough that i can't get it covered up. i remain here becasue i didn't get enought people telling me to get out when i told the guild i'd converted to satanism. although if you take a look through my old posts especialy in debats on abortion homosexual rights and other sins you'll probably find plenty of satanic priciples even before i left the church.

..of course i dont hate you ---i dont think people here actually hate you...they might not like you but i dont think they hate you.

and isnt that the point....we're not being saved from things in this world --- it's what comes after this world.

again sorry for my spelling, grammer, and lack of punctuation.
