Tenshi Okono Gaara_Baby_Eater pSyCoMImE I think he's the bomb-diggity dawgg homie G slice of cheese cake because it's tastey like Gai and HE should have been Naruto's sensei- NOT Kakashi! >=(
Because kakashi OBVIOUSLY favorites Sasooke (sorry, had to do it D=> Love ya, Yuri!),
and plus: Naruto has more fun with Lee and Gai.
He would have been a great taecher for Naruto.
When I was playing Ultimate Ninja2...and I got Taijutsu Naruto...
I nearly joygasmed when Gai said that Naruto was now his pupil, and not Kakashi's XD

I'd be Gai's pupil anyday...Only if he provided health insurance for when I break my neck doing hand stands XD They traded Ten-Ten for Naruto XD. But you are right, Gai would actually be a better teacher for Naruto because he gives all of his students the proper time they need and evens it out, even if it is obviouse that Gai favors Lee. Could you imagine Naruto with big bushy eyebrows a bowlcut...and spandex though?...even though it would be funny...and the jumpsuit would probably end up being orange...I do agree, Kakashi sucks as a teacher...maybe Iruka should help him with that wink

Tenshi Okono Ryu Earth Gai-sensei rocks! cool his way of life makes me laugh and i enjoy reading fanfiction that involves him and the answer to the question if he goes commando or not sweatdrop The real question is...does that suit make him chafe? thats a good point, i never thought of that confused

This is really his first team he is teaching if you look at it. He is bound to make a few blunders. If we all remember back to the begining of the show, people were like "Nobody's ever passed Kakashi's test. They all ended up going back to the academy because he felt that they failed at life". Its rather obviouse that Gai has had other students than Ten-Ten, Neji, and Lee. Because their groups are so small, they have more of free range to do one-on-one training with the other students. I think Kakashi really hasn't grasped that part until later in the Shippuuden when he can treat them more as equals than little kiddies.

Lord knows they could use him back in there, doing the dangerous missions. Oh! That leads me to a question...Do you think Gai was ever in ANBU? And if he was...What animal mask was he?

I think he might have been since he and Kakashi always compiete with each other. My bet is he was, he is strong enough to be, and we know he doesn't have messed up chakra coils...But we have never seen him do a ninjutsu, so for all we know, Gai is a whole lot stronger then Kakashi...I also think Gai's mask would have been a gorilla...Since he has the eyebrows and all, or a frog...Cause of all that green -.-
