Uhm, my eyes are more in the middle actually. I've never gotten any eye jokes before, and it seems the people at my school are quite accepting. I'm different from my family though. All of them have the natural big eyes, with the fold and everything, and I don't. ^^;;;

My eyes are kinda in the middle, but that's because I'm half-Korean. I usually get complements on my eyes shape, but my friends tease me that when I smile, my eyes disappear. sweatdrop

The korean kids in my school have like squinty eye's. I don't see much Thai people with squinty eyes, so instead of people saying, 'oh, u have squinty eyes!' its all, 'your eyes are to big' xDD And i don't even have good eyesight *sigh*

I don't have squinty eyes. smile Most people ask me why my eyes aren't squinty... In fact, the few Asians at my school don't really even have squinty eyes...

I don't think my eyes are squinty...
Which is probably why I have never been made fun of for my eyes...only for being unable to talk. ^^;

My eyes are between chinky and just normal. I always make fun of my friend b/c her eyes are so squinty that even her family tells her to open her eyes when they are open. She's like my best friend so we always make fun of each other.

Some people tell me that I have squinty eyes (mostly because it is a sunny day) and some people tell me my eyes are too big.
I always make fun of my brother on how squinty his eyes are biggrin

oh gawd!! i hate that so much. thankfully..i have pretty big eyes for an asian. but i still get that stereotype! especially from caucasians[ got nothing against them--> i love them actually]. such as [ you're asian? don't you eat fried rice and have small eyes in a line? ] that's like me saying [ b***h. aren't you suppose to be fat & eat hamburgers all day long? ]

Animaznboy I wish I could be love, Then I could be All over the world. Squinty eyes are more common amongst the 'mainland' Asians. This includes China, Korea, Vietnam, Mongolia, Cambodia, Thailand, and Laos (I think I forgot a few.)
If you look at all the islanding Asian countries, most of their eyes don't have as much of the squinty eyes that the mainland Asians do. Compare a Chinese person's eyes to that of a Japanese. You'll see the Japanese will usually have less of a squint.
I'll remember to love, You taught me how. I don't think that's true..:/ Finals week is making my eyes squinty by lack of sleep and overworking..=.=

its never been an issue for me, but one of my friends always makes fun of me for being asian so she always says stereotypical asian jokes to me( which is okay cause i make fun her for everything else)..which includes the squinty eyes which i do have but a major factor to that i think is because im nearsighted and cant see anything
