Gaara replied, "Smart thinking. We'll both go pack and be out of here before Temari gets home. Make sure you bring your money." With that he left and went to his room with great haste. He made sure he packed all that he needed. Seeing as how he didn't own many things it took him about 8 minutes to get his bags packed and money properly stowed away for the trip. He then brought them back to the room that he and Kankuro were just in waiting for his brother to get done with his packing. While he wasn't particularly fond of parties it sounded much better than having to fear whatever his sister might possibly have planned for their New Year. Besides, who could turn down free lodging?

Disturbing Tale Teller (( Not gonna be on for a few hours... goin' off to an SCA event... )) Deidara huffed and puffed out his cheeks for a few moments, before letting out a sigh. "Who's gonna wander around in a restaurant, un, when they've only just arrived? Hmm?" he mumbled, and went back to playing with his hand-mouths, making soft disgusted noises every time his fingers were licked. He didn't say it, but he really didn't want to leave his partners' side. "What's that, Danna, un?" he asked, looking at the redheads' book. Sasori paused in the act of writing in a number to look over at Deidara. 'I really hope he remembers to put on his gloves when work starts...' The red head mused before showing the book to Deidara. "It's a puzzle-like game wear you have to fill in all the numbers 1-9 horizontlly, vertically, and inside the 9 smaller squares without repeating any number in each row, column, or square." The red head summed up the game as best he could before tearing out a different page with the large square with 9 smaller squares in it. "Here, entertain yourself..." small cup of pencils used for marking off taken tables or making a waiting list lost one more pencil as Sasori handed the blonde the pencil and paper.

"Yeah, yeah." Kankuro called behind him about the comment of money. He went and packed enough clothes for a week, grabbed his toiletries, and then made sure he had his wallet, and anything else he might have needed. Yawning to himself, he examined the invite again, nodding as he saw the address and figured in his head how to get there. Grabbing his things, a jacket and hat, and his keys, he headed out to where Gaara was.
"C'mon, Gaara. Let's get the hell out of here, before we're dragged into the pits of hell for new years, again." Kankuro smirked, heading for the door. He paused and left a note for their sister.
'Gone out for New Years. Have a party, hang out with your friends, don't have a cow. We'll be back when we feel like it.
-Kankuro'
Leading the way out into the van, he waited until Gaara had his things in, and then he put his own in. When they were both seated and had their seatbelts on, he started the van and backed out of the driveway, before heading off to where the Akatsuki Hotel was.
Deidara blinked at Sasori's explanation at what he was doing, not quite catching all of it. He stared at the paper and pencil offered, and then snagged it, staring at it more closely now. He thought about what the redhead had said about it, and tried it. He filled in some numbers, and then frowned as some were repeated. He pursed his lips and erased a few numbers, before trying again. He soon managed a pattern on one row that filled it all out without anything repeating in any row.
"Like this, Danna, un?" The blond showed his paper to his partner.

Sasori blinked, looking over at the blonde putting down his book and shifting so he could look over Deidara's shoulder. The red head subconciously noticed ithe invasion of personal space but it didn't care to inform the brain. Instead a pair of brown eyes focused on the slip of paper. There were crisply printed numbers randomly on the page to use as starting points and they stood harshly out compared to Deidara's handwriting. The male spotted at least two problems. "Okay, first off, see this four you put in? Well, there's another four in the same horizontal column, there's a 3 in the same box with another three, so, you switch the those two numbers..."
The male stretched his arm around Deidara so he could erase, his shoulder bumping with Deidara's as he leaned forward. "And then its good. Pretty decent for A first-timer..." The red head pondered his oddly good mood as he slipped away from Deidara, back to his own puzzle... he usually wasn't so patient, it must have been "fesitval spirit" kicking in.... or that sip of sake Kisame had given him this morning to help wake up and carry him through the rest of the day.... probably the second...

Gaara kept in ipod in his pocket for the trip. Since it would be a while before they got there he decided it would be best for the two of them not to fight over what radio station to listen to. He pulled out the ipod and put the earphones in his ears. Before starting it he looked over at Kanuro and said, "Which do you think is more likely? Situation one: Temari gets the note and after we get home she bites our head off for not inviting her along to where ever she might have though we went to. Or situation two: She gets the note invites her friends over trashes our room and the house. Then when we get back she blames the mess on us and makes us clean it?" He was thinking that would most likely be what would happen in the event of their return. Temari wasn't one to let things go too easily and without a price. He then looked down to his ipod and turned it on letting it be on a low volume so he could hear Kanuro's reply.

((*tries to make a good entrance but ends up tripping and falling on her face* Hi ladies sweatdrop ))
Momochi Zabuza was not a people person, so it was anyones guess to how he became a staff member at the very high class Akatsuki Hotel. Anyone who asked him normally received a death glare in return and ran away screaming. And while he had a rather lowly job as 'towel boy', he didn't have to deal too much with the customers. He went in before and after they had arrived unless he had to. If for some reason he needed to go in, he simply made the young boy go in instead.
Zabuza still didn't have much of an opinion about his boy called Haku, except that he sensed he was hiding something. And that he could be disgustingly sweet.
With a long sigh, he picked up a mountain of towels to distribute throughout the hot springs area before the manager showed up to breathe down his neck.

(( Heya, LK ^_^ ))
"I think, Situation three: She trashes the house, and then bites our heads off when we get home, before making us clean up." Kankuro replied with an irritated smirk. Their sister was a very hard person to please. He wondered what kind of person she would date, if she wasn't already. It wasn't his business to know. Submissive and willing to do whatever she wanted, or someone strong to keep her in line... the latter, he wondered if such a person even existed.
Leaning forwards, Kankuro turned on the radio low, so Gaara could still listen to his iPod. After scanning for a good station, he found one and listened while he drove.
Deidara hadn't noticed the closeness until Sasori was reaching around him. The blond stifled a blush, eventually chastising him for it. Why would he be blushing, anyways? His partner was distinctly male, and he wasn't gay. Well, he might've been Bi... He'd never really slowed down enough for a relationship, or to even figure out his gender preference. He puffed his cheeks for a moment.
"Thanks.... Danna, un." Deidara mumbled, getting back to work on his puzzle.
Before Zabuza entered the males' hotsprings area with towels, a black-haired, white and teal-clad boy came out from the girls side. Haku was the only one in the facilities who was allowed within the girls' hotsprings to distribute towels, as he looked very much like a girl, himself. With the white Kimono with a snowflake print, and his long black hair brushing against his shoulders, chest, and back, the pale, brown-eyed boy smiled softly to himself as he saw his partner.
"Do you need help with those, Zabuza-san?" the cheerful boy asked, having completed his task, and wanting more to do. He also wanted to help out, sometimes feeling he needed to prove his worth to the tall, almost intimidating-looking man he'd been with for a while. After all, the Momochi had helped him when he was younger, and since then, he'd stayed with the man. Now they worked together in the hotel, and it was the best, because he could almost prove that he'd been worth helping. It was an odd thing to think on, really, but it made sense in his head.

For an answer the older male just held out an arm full of the towels and pushed them into the boys hands. "The men's side is finished, we just need to do the changing area. I heard commotion a few minuets ago inside; the cheapskates must be starting to show up for their free stay."
He opened the sliding door with his now free hand and entered the room where there were small lockers for the guests to store their items while relaxing in the hot water. After this, he had a half hour break before the rush. "You finished your side quickly again today. I'm surprised."

Haku beamed, taking the towels from the older male. "I've been able to move at a fast pace, since there hasn't been anyone in there, lately, when I'm cleaning things up and putting in towels. Usually, when I'm in there, I have to bypass some areas, which makes it take longer." he explained as they headed in to finish up their job. They would have to return frequently to make sure the place was clean, and towels were fresh.

"When this place gets full, the woman are going to want to talk your ear off. If that happens just give me a yell and I'll deal with them." he gave one of his rare smiles, his abnormally sharp teeth becoming visible for an instant. "It's not fun if there isn't any screaming." Zabuza shoved the towels onto the shelves half-assed, uncaring that they became unfolded and a mess.
Sweating from being in the steamy rooms most of the morning, Zabuza loosened the belt of his kimono, all black with a crimson dragon on the back, and pushed it off so it was only around his lower body, leaving his upper bare. "Finished. Let's get the hell out of here and get something to drink."

Haku put his towels on the shelves neatly, even moving to fix some of Zabuza's. "I enjoy talking to them, sometimes, but usually they talk too much." he murmured with a smile, shaking his head lightly at the comment about the screaming. He finished up quickly while the older male removed the top half of his kimono. Fixing one last towel, he looked up and gulped slightly.
Now, Haku'd bathed in a hotsprings with Zabuza several times over, the both of them quite comfortable with their bodies. However, the teen just past puberty couldn't help but stare, sometimes. Whether he was comparing his miniscule form to Zabuza's broad shoulders and muscular torso, or if it was what made the lump rise in his throat lightly, then, and his cheeks redden a bit, he couldn't decide. Gulping a second time he nodded and smiled, about to use the excuse of the warmth of the hotsprings area if he was asked about his pink cheeks.
"Something to drink would be nice... maybe a small snack?" the teen asked, smiling pleasantly.

((last post. G'night))
He noticed Hakus gaze on him and couldn't help but stretch to flex some of his muscles. He always did enjoy it when others found pleasure in his strength, but that's not something he would be let known. The last thing he wanted was to be treated like some freak in a side show for the guests at the hotel.
His eyes caught the slight color to Hakus cheeks and he frowned a bit. He works himself too hard while working in a hot place. "I'm going to the bar to get a real drink." and I dare anyone to say anything to me about it too. To hell with proper attire and not drinking while on the job. "Let's go, I'll buy you something."

(( Thank you guys for caring enough to inform me that the rp started back up *looks at DTT-chan* *le sigh* OH! Just so you guys know, I'll be gone, probably without internet, for two weeks starting tomorrow TT~TT ))
Sasori gave a small 'Hm...' in response before going back to his puzzle, almost done with it. The red head blinked, putting the pencil back in the cup and slipping the book into the folds of his kimono. "Deidara- san, Konan-sama is coming along with two visitors it looks like..." Normally the shorter male didn't use honorifics with Deidara's name unless he was: 1) Mad at the younger male, 2) In a formal/work setting, or 3) Was feeling unwell. Sasori straightened his kimono, despite the absence of wrinkles, his emotionless face seemingly more like a slightly smiling mask than an actual expression. His dull brown eyes pretended to take an excited shine as Sasori turned into 'Work-Sasori'.

Haku hadn't missed the flex of muscles, and even managed to keep his blush to a minimum. He nodded a little at Zabuza's comment of getting a 'real' drink, and then he blinked as the older male commented on getting him something. "N-No, that isn't necessary. I make my own money, too." the teen murmured, flashing a meek smile. "I can get myself something." he gave a more pleasant smile. It was funny- he needed to remain with Zabuza, and even had lived with the man before they began working at the Hotel, but he could do odds and ends for jobs, and he could basically care for himself. He didn't want to be an inconvenience.
(( Gomen, Gomen, Hime-chan! gonk ))
Deidara blinked almost startlingly as Sasori called him by a rather formal name, and he looked up and noticed the reason why. He hastily shoved his sheet of paper under the podium shelf, and idly dropped the pencil in its' cup as he grabbed his gloves. Not many guests were too keen of seeing mouths on the hands that were delivering them their food. The blond murmured a small 'un' to his partner, in confirmation that Konan was escorting two guests. The blue-haired female dropped the guests off with them, and then went back to the bar where she and Pein worked.
With practiced mannerisms, Deidara worked with his partner to have the guests seated, and with menus. The blond poured them some water, as well as going back for their ordered drinks. Behind closed doors, he sighed and moved almost mechanically in getting things organized. He often wondered why in the world he worked at this job, but remembered that that hotel was widely-respected, and that he had his own reasons for wanting to be a part of that.

"I didn't ask if you wanted me to buy you something, Haku." Zabuza rarely asked for anything, he told or ordered. Even if he and the boy were close, it was no different for him. While working he barely tolerated the orders he was given from the manager and even then he didn't follow them much. This was why he had a hard time keeping jobs.
If only he could find something more suited to him...but that would be something illegal. Though he had done a few illegal jobs on the side. The last client he had tried to rip him off of his payment and so he ended up just like the hit. His client just seemed to have forgotten that Zabuza was the most skilled assassin in the underworld and even the authority figures who knew who he was feared him.
As they made their way through the hotel towards the bar, the employees and the guests stared at him. Whether it was from him being half naked or from the rather deadly look he had in his eyes, either way he didn't care. He just wanted a damn drink.
