I'd go to it. And pay for classes. If only a degree in lolita were good for something other than owning a cafe or having a clothing line. I'd be more than happy with either though. heart

Having a Lolita Academy/School would be so amazing, but just really impractical in today's society. I do not understand why we would be talking about a Lolita Degree when there was no grade specified. It could all very well be an academy for all ages and you could go off to college after going through the Lolita academy.
It could be really cool or really creepy.
I think it would be a lovely roleplay though. Do you mind if I steal the idea and start a role-play using it? Of course I would credit.

If it was like a normal academy that teaches regular classes, but had lolita uniforms...I would definitely want to go there!!!

I haven't really thought of an actual lolita academy. But it sounds very fun. I agree with GothicAlice. If a degree in lolita would be good for more than just two reasons. D;

Jazminny ChibiChew I dunno, having a normal academy with more focus on the arts (and perhaps somewhat lolita-inspired uniforms) would be fine, but actually teaching about the fashion itself would be going overboard. After all, it's a school, not a photo-shoot. It would also have to be wildly expensive if lolita clothing was required, seeing as how just one dress can cost so much. On the other hand, I think a story about a lolita inspired academy would make an excellent manga! Perhaps you should write it? Also, maybe the male students could wear the boy form of lolita (I think it's called kodona, but I can't remember at the moment... sweatdrop ). Of course I suppose they could choose to wear dresses instead it they wanted to. We won't judge! mrgreen I have crazy dreams about this kind of stuff all the time... I often dream of owning a giant lolita-themed mansion! It would have a big ballroom surrounded by Rococo paintings and have antique furniture in every room! And even a huge Alice in Wonderland themed garden! (Okay, I have officially left reality...) Yeah lol true, what I meant by teaching Lolita though is by sewing dresses to actually live without being deprived with the expense of money and may/may not be a requirement as a class; just like an elective or so. However, you've got your point, the mandatory use of Lolita dresses is iffy to all students, it'd be hectic for many Loli's.
That's a good idea, I've always wanted to make a manga ever since; oh who knows, maybe we could all work together to form the plot and get the fashion/Lolita rules right, since I'm quite fresh to the vogue. ^^;;
Yes, I've heard of Kodona; that'd be neat. 8D
LOL, you put a good ending to your last paragraph. Don't worry, it happens to me too. ^^ hahaha, judging my "dream date" from that thread, I have my wild dreams too, thus I'm sure that the others may be the same. I agree! a lolita school would be awsome! where they teach you to make the clothes and learn the fashion while also learning regular subjects!!*daydreams* heart
