-Another huff sounded from the waterbuck as the female cub's voice began to prattle. The apology was nice. But he'd rather simply have the two gone. And he'd REALLY not like to have their parents come looking and decide he was a snack. So again he stomped, lowering his head in a sign of minor aggression.- "Go hunt some smaller stuff then."
-Any pride he might have felt at his sister's wonderful words was pushed aside by the nagging worry that rest in his belly. Brave as he was, the waterbuck was SO big. And relief touched him as his sistered suggested departing. Nodding simply, he nudged her gently to go, turning back to the buck in one last show of ego and boyish pride.
Swatting harmlessly, young teeth baring, he spoke as if he were much bigger and scarier.- "Mind your own business old cow. You can't boss me and my sister around!" -And with that, he turned, bounding off before the buck could react, falling in behind his sister to make sure she was safe, incase they were followed.-
