The young adult nodded his head, lips pursed ever so slightly as he listened. As Duzi had traveled so far and for so long he had yet to discover this feeling, a feeling of peace and relief which would be so striking and so unmistakable which he simply never wanted to lose. Kindness was something he knew yet, at the saem time, he didn't experience for it himself often. Being a foreigner and an outsider often he did cause others comfort zones to become strained and tense which often seemed to stir up a brawl or two. It seemed a bitter sweet concept yet Duzi seemed to only be rather familiar with the bitter aspect.
"Home. I 'aven't known such a palce since I was a cub," the young adult remarked, his maw twinging slightly. "Mus' be a good place ta' fin', eh? I don' think I'll be close ta' findin' a place like 'dat anytime soon. But I guess 'dat ma journey's not quite ova' yet- maybe someday I'll settle down but I gotta fin' a home o' somethin' of ta' likes."
His tail curled around his body, biting down on his lower lip in a slight, thoughtful manner. Perhaps one day he would but- well, for now he wasn't quite sure what direction he was headed.

"I was the same." She answered quietly, watching him respectfully still. "Sometimes it takes the wrong circumstances to make you realize... I wouldn't still be here if I didn't have my daughter to worry about at the time. Just keep an open mind... I'm sure you'll find it one day, maybe home for you is with someone, rather than someplace...?"

The wrong consequences? He bit his lower lip feeling as if his whole past was made up of nothing other than the wrong circumstances but perhaps that was because his entire mind set and thoughts were rather mixed with uncertainty and a mild confusion. For now he pushed it aside, keeping a relaxed and calm composure. As Kimya spoke softly, he nodded his head.
"Pe'haps- maybe I jus' haf'ta fin' 'dat someone someday. I jus' can' give up hope."
Duzi's voice was soft, smooth with a silky touch as he chuckled ever so softly and nodded his head. Someone. Again the thoughts and feelings rose stirred, making him question that perhaps- perhaps he had already found that someone?
He didn't like to rush into things and again he pushed it aside.
"It'll come someday."

"Everything comes eventually with time." A small smile. She did believe it, just... things seemed to be different for her in that regard. She felt at ease with Duzi, he seemed a nice fellow, handsome, too, as far as Kimya's opinion went, but sure as he spoke of not feeling any pulls to any one place or person, she was certain he wasn't returning her thoughts despite his earlier teasing (or so she thought it was).
"The lands are very giving. Maybe if you stay for just a day or two you might find more than you've been searching for."

Inside he was feelng something; a stir of a strange feeling that was so new which even he couldn't put a paw on. Feelings were something that Duzi was rather keen on deciphering but, at times, it was a challenge for him. The crimson and black striped male was the type to push them away or to not let them get the better of him because of past experiences. But these feelings- they were very different but in a good way. How was he to speak of pulls and feelings right now or how he seemed to be feeling around her when they had barely only met?
Certainly expressing that he was growing fond of her would tip off the iceburg just a bit and make her feel uncomfortable to be around him. The male exhaled softly, smiling warmly as he nodded his head.
"These lands seem to be," he replied, musing slightly. "Pe'haps jus' a day o' two could win me ova'. Sometimes ya can' jus judge anythin' by firs' glance or pass by it; theres always somethin' dat ya' migh' miss."
Duzi glanced around slowly, intaking a breath of air as he could feel the feelings growing stronger.
Secretly he was starting to lean upon the idea that, perhaps, this was home.
