Senatla nodded to Aten, knowing he was right. She was sort of dreading it, two of her cubs already tried to wander off and she feared deeply that they would leave her as soon as they were able. Silent with her fears for the moment, she smiled as her little Sewelo gave a loud mew when lightly poked. "That one is Sewelo, he was born third." Licking her son she introduced them all to Aten in order, nuzzling each with a purr rumbling deep in her throat. "This is Asphamet, this little escape artist is Kijani," Skipping naming Sewelo again, she just nuzzled the cub and moved on to her first daughter, "These two little girls are Sare'Nafsi and Khozama"
They would be such beautiful ladies, she was sure, though Sare was another wonderer and another deep worry. Going to her last born, she said, "And he is Motsu" She spoke with such rumbling pride for her offspring, the smile only leaving when she looked back up to the adults, her family, "I just worry with any pride, leopons and other mixed breeds like my litter are not always treated very well. I don't want them to ever know they are anything other than normal lion cubs, or at the very least, that they are normal." Even in the roguelands were hybrids are more common, they didn't get the best of a reception in most places.

"Lovely names," he purred and slunk to his belly to be at their level, "I cannot wait until they are old enough to roughhouse and to play." He sniffed one and wanted to lick them affectionately like a father who was too afraid to touch his own children. But, they were not his, they were hers. He did not know if he was gentle enough for them, or even knew how to love them, but his heart swelled with pride.
"Hello, Sewelo, Asphamet, Kijani, Sara'nafsi, and Khozama, and of course Motsu, welcome to the amazing world, do not be frightened," he whispered, "Uncle Ten, Aunt Kamaria, and your mama will be here for you." He nuzzled one of them and smiled.
He looked up at Senalta wondering if he had done a good job saying that, "they'll grow so big in no time." he was a very proud brother indeed.

Senatla was as pleased as could be that he liked the names for her cubs, she hoped they liked them as well. Speaking of the idea, she told him, "I am sure they will be very eager to play the moment they are able." She could already tell they would be active little things, as much as they danced inside of her.
Looking nothing but utterly happy as he showed such an interest in her cubs, even nuzzling one of them. She fully approved of the actions. Nodding, she said, "I know, its hard to believe these little things will grow big, but I know it will happen before I can blink." It was an exaggeration, but she was sure they would grow quickly.

Kamaria was excited that Senatla was accepting of her suggestion. She seemed to understand that in the safety of a pride, the group would have assistance with the cubs, as well as protection. The roguelands were not a pleasant land in which cubs should be raised and Kamaria wished to ensure that these cubs receieved the most wonderful upbringing.
When Senatla mentioned leaving already, the spotted lioness was quick to shake her head. "Senatla!" Kamaria exclaimed, careful not to speak so loudly that she might frighten the cubs, "You have just given birth. You're exhausted. You have Aten and I in your company. We will rest for the night and perhaps a few days and when the cubs have the strength to walk, we will begin our trek. Surely Ten and myself can carry them for portions of the trip so that they may keep up their strength."
When Aten reached the two lions, a well as the cubs, he had the same opinion as Kamaria. The lioness was glad to hear that he voiced his opinion as well. Surely Senatla could not argue if the two of them were claiming it would be best for her.
Interupting their conversation was a tiny cub named Katsu, mewing and in dire need of attention from his mother. Kamaria's smile melted into something that obviously could not contain its happiness. Her eyes were close to watering and she was only more amazed with each passing moment. "I do not mean to keep you from your cubs, Senatla."

Tired, the young mother was a little agitated at the idea of staying out in the roguelands with her cubs, but knew Kam was right. There would be no way she would be of any help to her cubs if she tried to move them now. Thinking about it, she looked to the cubs and asked Kam, "Do they really grow that fast? Ready for travel on their own in only a few days?" She didn't know much about cubs, but the tiny ones she had just given birth to hardly seemed ready to go traveling anywhere.
"You are not, I really am glad for this time to talk" Senatla responded with a smile, turning her head for a moment to nudge Motsu and give him a lick. There were no words, no expressions to truly show how happy she was, but her cubs seemed to have many expressing how they were not as thrilled as she was.
Sewelo, disturbed by his mother moving his brother, started a shril cry as well, just as demanding for attention .

When asked about how quickly the cubs were supposed to grow, Kamaria looked to Aten for a moment, as though to ask him. She had said that they would head off soon, but wasn't actually sure just how soon the cubs would be ready. All the lioness could really say for sure was that she knew the cubs were not ready at that moment and they would need to wait until they were. "Well.. I'm not positive to be honest." Kamaria finally admitted with a light smile. "But i'm sure they will be ready for running about very soon. I don't remember much before I was able to walk and follow my mother."
When Aten boasted about how wonderful the cub's names were, Kamaria nodded. Names were a very important thing to the lioness and she felt as though each and every cub had one unique and special to them. Senatla was doing a marvelous job with the large group of cubs.
When Sewelo began to call for his mother's attention, Kamaria knelt down to inspect the small white bundle of fur. "Do you mind if I?" the spotted lioness asked, her expression almost pleading. She wanted to nuzzle the cubs and introduce them closer to their family, but knew how that might be intruding. "I can wait, of course. I know they were only just born." It was so strange how Kamaria had grown into an adult without any concern of cubs her entire life, but as soon as her sister gave birth, she couldn't get the thought from her mind. Would she be a good mother like she knew Senatla would be?

Tired as she was, Senatla was very curious about the answer and looked for it in her companions. Concerned, she sifted through her early memories, feeling very unprepared as she has been for a long time. "I don't remember really following my mother and aunt until I was eating solids for the most part." Of course, that didn't say much, she had only very hazy memories as it was. She couldn't even remember what they looked like or smelled like, though she was determined to make sure her cubs didn't have the same problem.
Instinct told her to check her son when he called out for her, but the drain on her body was taking its toll. Looking grateful, she told Kam, "Go ahead; I am just going to put my head down for a few moments." While the time line would be off, she was feeling much better for the help and was able to give in and put her head down.
When attention didn't come, the cub cried louder, so much so that each call his little body lifted off the ground. Very demanding, he was not giving up.

When Senatla gave approval, Kamaria knelt down to nuzzle the small cub. She breathed deep, taking in the small one's scent. He, like his siblings around him, smelled wonderful for some reason. Kamaria imagined it was the smell of purity and innocence. Lifting her head, she smiled at her sister, entirely understanding the fact that she was so tired.
"Sleep now, Senatla. You have deserved a long rest." Kamaria's voice was low and she curled her body close to her sister, but not so much that she was intrusive. She wanted to keep a close eye on the cubs and knew that Aten would do the same. Watching them, the lioness couldn't help but still smile.
The were a gorgeous little family.
