there are actually gosts despite what every one says it appears when the game gets very lagy and a person quits then joins back in. it is very hard to make it appear. if you don't believe me just ask one of my friends who has a video of it. his gamer tag is HalfLucky shot.

there are no ghosts. if anyone has a video of it, the video always depicts a grenade comin outta nowhere or something like that and its really easy to reproduce. in forge you throw a grenade or equipment then immediately while still in the animation for throwing said weapon you change into the moniter. after some time the grenade/weapon will appear and it may look as if mobody threw the weapon. anything else like a mongoose driving itself is either lag or a guy with active camo. no getting around it.

There's many explanations for the "ghosts". Some people call it a lag, and others call it Bungie Employees fooling around with other people. It could probably even be a connection error where two games are connected into one server. But having ghosts on your game would be pretty cool (at least in my opinion).
There's even been a time where my cousin was playing a Custom Game in the McDonalds map with him and his guest. While his guest was away, a Spartan that was indulged in flames ran across the restaurant.
I've even read that ghosts can even appear on a map even if you're offline or don't have Xbox Live.

Here's a video of The Ghost of Lockout. It doesn't depict a random grenade, but an actual ghost, Bungie Employee, or modder.
