Not entirely sure why she was calling him little one, and starting to get a bit of an inkling that Shaitani wasn't...all there, for lack of a better expression, Ayo followed her still, for he figured that he would be the less if he did not follow through. There was an experience to be had here, an adventure such as he'd dreamed about as a child...
...but he remembered his mother's wise words, that an adventure is all well and good until you find yourself in one.
"Black are the shadows...dark is the night, run from what follows, flee from the light..." He murmured, twisting an old rhyme that his mother had once spoken, to fit circumstances. It seemed apt...a mirror of the pale lioness' words.
This was enjoyment and peril, and Ayo'obi never once looked back over his shoulder in fear or regret.

When he was close enough, Shaitani jumped from behind the tree, landing lightly before him. The pale lioness danced around him as she smiled sweetly, wiggling and flicking her tail as she murmured things that couldn't quite be heard.
Suddenly, she stopped and stepped close to him, her face once more only inches from his. "Handsome boy..." She purred as she stared into his eyes, her own like mirrors of red. "Will you spend the night with me? Dance with me through the darkness and let this Child show you its wonders... Hide from the light and taste the sweet liquid of life."
A deep purr rumbled from her throat as she ducked her head and rubbed her face along his mane, moving down his side with an arch of her spine. Like some sort of house cat, she rubbed herself against him affectionately, coming around again to bury her face in his thick mane.
"You smell like... sunshine..." She murmured sweetly.

She almost startled him, had he not been looking for her, expecting her to appear like the mist she resembled, ghost-pale and blood-red...the dancing lady of the night.
Emerald met crimson and he nodded slowly, though there was no hesitance in the gesture. It was an invitation that couldn't be mistaken, and he purred deep in his chest for the closeness of her. "I will indeed, madam..." He replied, touching his nose to her fur.
"And you smell of shadow...the deep dark and all its allure..." An answering, breathy response.
He could naught but marvel at her, and her sweet seduction.

Shaitani laughed as her eyes flashed and she sank back into the privacy of the shadows, her movements beckoning him to join her. Where she went, even her glowing white pelt couldn't be seen, a place where all light was forsaken and things not ment for light lived.
"Come, follow me... into the darkness, into the night." She hissed again, letting out a very female laugh, the flick of her tailtip the last of her to be seen before she was swallowed up.

His breath caught in his throat at the suddenness with which she could vanish, once again wondering if she were naught but an apparition.
Heeding the call of his midnight siren once more, Ayo's own eyes glittered jewel-like in expectation, and taking a slow breath, he then leapt after her, propelling himself forward into the inky blackness, to disappear with her until the morning's light.
