when Ren seen the new rex he all but forgot about his anger at Aeon and turned and rumbled hello in her direction. Turning around he trotted over and did a rex sorta smile at her then turned back and raced over to Aeon who had taken over his hole.......

Eruix glanced at the new rex. A female! as far as he knew, only males went here! He rumbles a greeting and grins, then went back to scraping at the dirt. He was sure it would only get more fun.

Crayko tilted her head, at the redish Rex that approached her briefly and rumbled a question. 'what are you doing?' she sniffed the ground slightly and promptly sneezed smelling only dry dirt, she scrunched her nose a bit and shook it off. "what was so fun about digging in DRY dirt? it was much better in her view if it was wet and muddy. she tilted her head again but felt better they all seemed to welcome her presence and scratched the dirt, testing it a bit.
it wasn't so bad.
might be good for an itch, she wondered. with the best 'shrug' a rex could perform she started to dig along with the others. after a few minutes she switched feet and sort of watched the others to make sure she was 'doing it right'
suddenly her foot scraped something and she pulled her foot away in slight surprise. she looked down and prodded the dirt to find out what she'd hit.
a rock...
oh lucky day. she rumbled a slight annoyance as she dig the rock out and promptly kicked it from her hole, flinging it behind her and unknowingly sending it tumbling into the dark colored males hole. she then stopped and wondered if finding rocks was the point of the digging. that wouldn't be any fun, she thought.

Eruix jumped back, startled as the rock flew into his hole- which was getting pretty deep. it collapsed a side of his hole, and the dark-colored rex growled in annoyance, glaring at the female rex. he scraped away the dirt, and, with a grunt and a last annoyed glare at Crayko, kicks the rock towards her. he isn't particularily strong, and the rock lands near the hold. he grunts again in fusteration, and resumes digging. Now he had MORE work to do to get his hole back to where it was before.

startled by the growl Crayko jumped slightly and turned to look at the rex who's hole she apparently 'broke' she ducked her head as the rock was tossed back and whined an apology. she figured now, rocks where bad. she din't like it when others got mad at her. so she sulked back to digging as quietly as she could. sure to watch where she tossed any more rocks

Eruix rumbled noncommitally. At least she apologized. he scraped rapidly. The only good thing that rock did was make it possible to scrape out nice, loose dirt that ran between his toes with a lovely feeling. It was, at least, fun to dig through this dirt.

Ren snorted then growled as Eruix barked at the female. That was a bit mean, he glanced over at the rock that had fallen short of her hole. With a agitated rumble he swong back his tail then slammed it into the side of the dirt mound that was slowly becoming larger as him and Aeon dug. The cloud formed up and settled it seemed right on poor Aeon and Eruix's area.....

Crayko jumped slightly as the red rex was causing a ruckus and as the dirt plume settled she crept up to their hole and tilted her head at them. wondering what his fuss was about, she felt like the oddball as she only seemed to be causing havoc.

Eruix leapt back. Then he growled in annoyance. The dust tickled his nose uncomfortably and now he had to dig back down... again. and it was practically more dirt than before. All nice dirt, admittedly, but alot of work. he glared at Ren and huffed angrily, half an expression of absolute annoyance- first that rex rolled around on HIS spot, then he had to go undo all the work that he had had to redo- and half an attempt to clear his nose. The darn dust in the air- at least the female rex hadn't thrown the dust into the air!

Ren snorted and glared back at Eruix and all Aeon did was roll his eyes and go back to the hole Ren had filled on him yet again......
Ren looked over at the worryed female and smiled well as much as a rex could smile. He wasnt sure how to say it was ok but he figured that was at least enough.
to him this black rex was making to much of a deal about the holes he had been diging forever and found nothing shockly not even a rock....

Eruix grumbled. He didn't like this hole anymore. it would be too much work redigging it. he stepped carefully out of it, and walked over to a new spot. He clawed through the dry dirt, grunting to himself in time with the claw strokes.

Ren snorted good he had made him move. the rex was being mean anyway ever since he got here... with a happy hop he contiued digging the whole dirt flying every which direction from ren and aeon.

Eruix clawed a few more times at the ground, satisfied with its nice, not-packed soil. he watched the flying dirt warily. Much as he loved digging, dust on, in, and around his scales was not a priority.

Aeon watched Eruix a moment before hurrying back to his work, he had alot of it since Ren had ruined it. He wasnt even sure why it was he was digging it. he grumbled to him self before becoming busy in his work.

Eruix dug a bit more, turning his attention from the dirt. his claw hit something hard. carefully, Eruix digs around the hard object and prys it up. a rock! a big quartz rock! very pretty, and shiny, if not valuable. he grins at the other rexes and begins scraping caked dirt off of his prize
