hmmm, it's ok, but it has two glaringly obvious flaws right off the bat. One it is run by the gov't. Two, it compleatly fails to address the passive periphrastic tense.

I don't think compound tenses are within the scope of "Beginner's Latin." But hey, we both know the government are compleat(sic) morons. Apparently.

well, personaly I learned in which I mean tried to muddle through and getting suprisingly high grades on tests and the like my first year of learing latin as a high-school Junior.

A friend of mine used to write his notes from lecture in some English-Greek hybrid, just to confuse the people around him. And piss me off.

"What'd he say about diprotic acids? Let me see your notes... '∂iπrωtic αci∂σ hαvε twω πρωtωνσ...' what the ******** is this?"

In fact, Blind, I bet you two would get along great.

Diprotic acids? What the hell do you study?

Well, if anyone wants to know some African languages, I can do my best to find that out for you. Anthropology library = win.

We're both Biology majors. He was my Chem lab partner (until he pseudo-failed. Paperwork error FTW. Gives me eternal bragging rights).

Visita interiora terra. Rectifundo inviernes occlumets lapidem
Visit the bowels of the earth. By making things right you will find the hidden stone
-Riddle of the Stone

Supposedly that would be used in gaining the Philosopher's Stone.

This could be useful, I'm planning a prank and Latin makes it more fun!
