George stood by Fred and glared at the boy as well, looking the exact mirror image of Fred. "He came over and kept calling us babies and he shoved me." George accused. "Fred only grabbed his wrist to stop him from pushing me again." He said, hoping the teacher wouldn't draw attention to the small burns.
It wasn't Fred's fault. He should have left earlier. Looking over at his twin, he tilted his head slightly, meaning 'thanks, but you shouldn't have done that.'

the teacher frowned and looked at the boy's arm. She glanced at Fred but he just watched her innocently.
"We'll take you to the nurse, then we're calling your parents young man." she told him and grabed his other hand.

George watched the boy go and after both he and the teacher were turned he stuck his tongue out at him. "idiot bully. Come on. Let's go show people our drawings.."
~~later that week~~
"What do you think this is about, Adian?" Chel said, her tone a bit worried as she fiddled with the hem of her shirt. Her hair was brown today, she had decided to keep it that way for the meeting.
Inside George sat next to Fred, a Dr. Suess book open in his lap as he read out loud to Fred (some other kids happened to be listening, but they didn't matter).

Adain wraped his arm around Chel warmly, reaching over and nuzzling under her chin lightly. "Hey, she didn't have the angry tone remember? I'm sure it's nothing." Adain soothed, though there was a hint of worry in his voice too.
What could they want?
Fred smiled as he leaned against George, listening to the book happily. His eyes followed along with the words. He could read too but he liked George doing it.

Chel nodded weakly as she stepped into the room, glad for Adian's nuzzle, smiling as soon as she saw the boys.
"I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them.. MOM!" George cried as he shut the book, beaming up at his parents. "Fred, Mom and Dad are here." He said exited. He might be more social, but even he could only handle so much daycare.

Fred looked up and smiled brightly, running over to Chel, hugging her tightly and then held up his hands, demanding to be picked up silently. When she did he leaned over and nuzzled her just like Adian did. that always made her smile.
Adain laughed and grabed George himself, tickling his sides. "I see my smart little boy is reading for his brother and friends. That's my little linquist." Adain had to look up the word but his sons inheritated their mother's mind (thank god) and he tried to enhance them.

Chel nuzzled Fred back, smiling broadly. "How was school today, Fred?" She asked, hoping to get her younger child to open up a bit more, though she was sure he would do so in time.
George laughed at the tickle, wiggling. "Dad!" He cried, as Adian's slowed and his laughter subsided. "and yeah. I was. Green Eggs and Ham. Dr. Suess is super cool."

Fred shrugged a little, prefering to stay silent as much as possible but because he knew his mom wanted to hear him say some stuff so he spoke softly, "Okay."
Adain just grinned down at George. "He is. Was my favorite author as a kid." he agreed easily. "Hey Bud, do you know why the teacher wants to talk to us?" Adian asked.

Chel beamed at him, moving over to where Adian and George were. "That's great dear.." She told Fred.
George shrugged. "We haven't done anything bad at all. So there's no reason for us to be in trouble."

Fred beamed at the praise. Sometimes he thought about talking for Mommy, she pushed more than Daddy. Adain tended to let the kids be kids, at least as they didn't lag behind.
He didn't know the teachers already thought he was.
Adain nodded, that followed his logic. "Well lets find out then, shall we?" he asked the whole family, shifting George to one arm then wraping his free one around Chel.

The teacher was waiting off the side of the room and spotted them, coming over to meet them. " Mr. and Mrs. Blair. Thank you for coming. This way, we'll speak in the office." She said leading them away.
Chel held Fred a bit tighter to her as they started off. George look up at Fred, then to his father, he hoped nothing was wrong. They really had been good..

Fred leaned against Chel as they walked into the office. He quieted down more around the teachers, not liking to talk to them. They always looked at them weird. He talked for Chel because she wanted him to be happy, so he was happy to make her happy.
And George was...well George. And Adain didn't push so it made Fred feel comfortable enough to talk to him too, but the teachers were always looking at him weird.
Adain walked in, sitting down in a chair and shifted George to his lap. "So what's up Teach?" he asked, always the casual one.

The teacher sat and looked them over once, regarding Adien oddly. "Well.. It's about George."
"I didn't do anything!"
"I know." She said with a sigh, before addressing Chel and Adian again. "We want to move George up to the gifted class."

Fred's eyes went wide. He looked around, quickly. Wanting someone, anyone, to ask if he'd be going along too. They didn't say 'your sons', they didn't mention him. Only George...Were they going to take them apart!?
Adain frowned a bit. "Really? What about Fred?" he asked, making Fred give his father a relived look. "The boys don't like to be alone." He said, more to Chel than the teacher.

"I'm afraid Fred barely reaches the requirements of out basic class." The teacher said, looking at Fred with pity. "But George has shown skill in language unlike any I've seen before. "
Chel frowned at Adian's words, seeing his point and was about to speak when George spoke. "I won't go. Not without Fred" He said simply. Chel looked over at him. He looked sure.
"I'm sorry then, but.."
"It was be an amazing opportunity for George. He should take advantage of his skill."
