hylianhero27 If you didn't take the pictures of your guitar then I have a hard time believing you own it. Anyone could put a photo up of a guitar they see on zzsounds or musicians friend. The stock images don't count! (ESPECIALLY if you say something like "It's this guitar but with this color option instead...") On that note: I know what you mean, but even if they are lying, so what? It's not like it's hurting you or anybody else. All it does is remind them of how crappy their real guitar is if they have to lie and say they have a better one. But remember that not everybody has a digital camera. It's hard to believe, I know, but it's true.

Ok, here is all my junk, going from left to right, spector euro5 rebop zebrawood top, seagull artist series mahogany folk, music man silhouette(the one i just bought from ebay $800 for all those who think music mans are too expensive) the guy installed coil tapping too, so it is extra awesome, my mini martin, and godin signature series LG w/ AA flame maple top(just like I said in previous post). The amps are Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb(on loan from bro.) and Marshall JCM 900 combo. On the floor you might notice a Line S**t pedal which i got and crapped out on me 6 months later, and is just as expensive to fix as buy.

Plus it's not like I said it was a hyper expensive les Paul signed by slash himself now did I? I'll probobly take a pic of my Guitar and Amp together somtime soon anyway. Oh, and also, I can't remember exactly, I MIGHT have made this thread before my guitar actualy arived. Dawsons (the music store I orderd it from) had some mix up and sent the amp and guitar a week appart from each other.

The Squier came with the amp, and the Gibson is called the Les Paul Vintage Mahogany on Musician's Friend, where I got it from. I'm not sure, but I think the acoustic might be discontinued.

Wow man, you really need a better amp. Jesus, anything is better then a 15G. That's like the worst Fender amp you can get. Nice Schecter and Gibson though.

Nice Schecter and Gibson though. Not even. It's a great little amp. When I use the neck pickup on my Gibson, I get a perfect "Sunshine of Your Love" sound. Cheapest doesn't always mean worst. Although I guess worst doesn't always mean bad. Although I do want a new one, one with a bit more "umph." The worst amp I've ever heard was my friend's Maestro. It's like another step below Epiphone. We literally can't even get a clean tone out of it.

I also bought a Squire off of my friend yesterday for $20 So NEW PICTURES: (First, yes I actually do have a 15G) Secondly; new guitar.

I don't have a pic of my actual guitar, but I got a stock photo of it. I think it is a Greg Bennett Design by Samick MB1 Malibu Electric Guitar I also have a cheap amp, but i can't remember what kind it is.

I think you could get like a used fender deluxe for less than that, that is pretty ok, or like a peavey tube amp.

I think you could get like a used fender deluxe for less than that, that is pretty ok, or like a peavey tube amp. For around $500 you could get a half decent stack if you know where and when to look. I got mine for around $400 and it sounds as good as my friends MG Marshal half. (That cost him around $700) 1. Don't be afraid to buy a used cab. It's not like you can do a whole lot to damage them. They are just speakers, and as long as they work, and the soldering isn't some halfa** job, you should be fine. 2. Look for a 100 watt head. You can get by with a fifty, but it just dosn't sound the same. You will probably want 100 watts if your getting something like a 4x12 or 4x10. The reason I say 100 is because you can turn it down so that it's still quiet enough to practice on, but it can still get loud enough that you could gig with it, as opposed to a 212 or whatever. Not to mention a 100 watt is going to be ALOT cheaper then a stronger head. http://www.samash.com/catalog/showitem.asp?ItemPos=1&TempID=2&STRID=2381&Method=2&CategoryID=133&BrandID=1373&PriceRangeID=0&PageNum=0&DepartmentID=0&pagesize=10&SortMethod=2&SearchPhrase=&Contains=&Search_Type=SEARCH&GroupCode=This is actually the same head that I bought. It's cheap, powerfull, and gets the job done. Of coarse it's nothing incredible, but for less then $200 bucks I think you would be amazed. I would suggest you go into your local samash or guitarcenter though and see what sounds good and what you can afford. (ask to see their used gear for cabinets while your there.) As long as you're not all uppity about used gear though, you could end up with a pretty sick setup for half the price it would be new. EDIT: Forgot to mention that if you buy the Hartke, you would want to buy a decent metal pedal, and maybe acouple others. The thing is though, that with the money you save on buying a more expensive head, you could buy two or three pedals, and always have them even when you decide to upgrade. See my point?

I'm not really looking for a head/stack. All I really want is a combo, around 1-2 x 10-12, with decent distortion on its own. Tubes are a plus, although aren't those generally more expensive?
