I have all of the spots on my stable completely filled.
XD

So I have a lot of pets.
But the one I use the most is my Devilsaur.
But I also have a Raptor, Cat, Silithid, and a really cool glitched pet that looks like the werewolf humanoids.

Out of all the pets though I have to say I love using raptors and devilsaurs the most.
They have some AMAZING attacks. And even though they can die easily, they have that amazing ability to come back to life automatically with full health.

terrorpene is my favorite for tanking and soloing instances. and i like the way that turtles look in wow =D

crabs for PVP

dinos for PVE

as far as looks go i like mostly everything that isn't a wolf, a worm, or that dingy poopy brown mixed with green color.

if you love the spirit beasts and other rare pets, my husband has every single one,DL npc scan (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/npcscan.aspx) and just turn your volume on it all the way up, and watch a movie or something while your character waits at a spawn point for the sound. (of course every so often you'll have to move around, or if your nifty you can just rig a fan with a pencil to continuously hit the spacebar) linking up with a friendly hunter looking to get the same pet can help too. you scratch his back he usually does yours. not too hard ^_^
