"Ah, good." he said with a smile. :"So how are things lately?" he asked. "I've been working on a project for the past month or so, so I wasn't in touch."

She nodded. "Not much. I was looking for any weak points to HEC, other then the rent a cops that run the security gate out front, I wasn't able to find much aside form a lose sewer grate." She paused for a moment, looking down slightly. "Micah left you know.At least, I think he did."

Cat blinked, looking puzzled. "I still have my apartment. It's one extra room then I need and the doors busted, but I paid the rent off for the year so I think I'll stay there for now." She looked at Tori. "Have you heard anything from former faction members since teh HQ was bombed?"

Kain M ShZual ::All right, time for him to take the stage. He was once more public, though since no one other than his Master had ever seen his face much less known him by name, things should work out just fine. He wander through the HEC HQ hallways, having great fun looking at the architecture that went in to it. He wasn't too impressed, but then again he'd never really been one to keep up with the times when it came to remodeling. It wouldn't be too long until he'd stumble upon a secretary behind her desk...for some reason, he couldn't quite comprehend the idea that people actually worked for this company. As much as he wanted to just pull up a chair and question this woman and try to pick her brain apart, he'd remain "in character" so to say, trying to keep his new image up. He'd stroll up to the desk, putting on the act of "new to the building" before trying to catch the attention of Ms. Draega::
"Um, high...err...my name's Feign Lupid...I'm here to speak with...crap what the hell was the guy's name..."
::He'd rub the back of his neck as if struggling to remember the name of the individual. He'd loosen the crimson tie about his neck and move a few raven strands from his eyes before snapping his fingers and without realizing it slamming his hands on to her desk with an idiotic grin as he'd remember the name::
"ELECK! Thomas Eleck! He said he had a job lined up for me...something about demolition? I dunno, maybe you can point me in the right direction?"
Draega snapped out of the daze she had entered while typing away upon her computer, mostly her own notes on who worked there and where. Anyone looking at it once would think it simply notes in order to keep her organized and up-to-date so that she could perform her job better. And, for the most part, that was the truth, however, it also helped to fulfill her 'side-job' as a spy. So she blushed in embarrassment as she quickly to turned to the man who called himself 'Feign Lupin'. Draega blinked repeatedly as she let out a sort of surprised 'oh!' and quickly scrapped around for a pad and pencil and any memos that might have left for her.
"Sorry about that...I'm afraid I'm a bit out of sorts today. I think my late nights are finally starting to get to me." she said with a sort of flustered laugh. "Um...yes! Here it is. If you're looking for Mr. Eleck he's down the hall to the right, three offices up from the end of the hall. Though...normally he's out for...uh..coffee this time of day." Draega rolled her eyes at the lie. True that's what Eleck told all the secretaries he was doing, but in truth the man was out constantly meeting with his mistress. "I'm sorry...it doesn't look like Mr. Eleck will be back until around two." Draega returned to looking at the man with an apologetic smile. "You're welcome wait in a chair over there. We've got some sandwiches in the break room along with some beverages if you get hungry. Just let me know alright?" Draega told him, smiling sweetly.

My home was there, so... the only protection from the elements I've had lately while working on the project was Ridley's wings."

Cat nodded quietly. "I'm guessing that whoever wasn't in the base when it went down, have gone into hiding for awhile. I haven't heard from any of the other runners, human or otherwise." She looked at him and raised a brow as he mentioned not having a place to stay. lightly she knocked him on the head. "Idiot, I told you before you were welcome at my place if you needed a place to stay."

He blushed lightly at the thought of staying with her, then smiled. "Certainly." he said smoothly. "I bed will be nice after all this time."

She smiled slightly, though it seemed forced. "The couch will have to make due till I can clean out Caleb's room." She skated ahead a bit and opened teh door to the bar and looked in. "Jeez, no ones here this early?"
A girl with blonde hair looked up from what she was doing. Seeing her friend at teh door she smirked. "Most people don't need a drink this early. Long time no see Cat."
Cat smiled. "Hey Al, I brought a friend with me."

Tori waved, sitting at one of the stools with a smile. "I like it." he said with a grin. "The ambiance is really quite nice..." he sniffed deeply. "And it smells way better than any other place I've been to."

Alex smiled. "Why, thank you. What can I get the two or you?" She asked.
Cat took a seat near Tori. "I'd like the usual please, just whiskey." She smirked. "By the way. Alex, this is Tori, Tori this is my Friend Alex, she's a former Faction member as well."
Alex set down the glass she was cleaning out. "Nice to meet you." she said, extending her hand.

Seth looked around the forest and inhaled deeply. Extreme situations had been known to awaken latent powers in U.H's but he had no idea what sort of situation would awaken his. HE could try something reckless but he didnt really want to test his limits; especially since he didnt know what they were. He could try jumping off a building, but if he could A. Fly B. Transform into something that could fly C. be invincible he was the D. Quite ********.
A strange scent hit his nose and he had no idea what it was, it smelled like something was burning. Through the distance he saw a man walking but the only problem was he on fire. "What the..." Seth stood up and edged closer as silently as possible. After he got closer he heard the man mumbling, "I didnt know... I didnt know... I didnt know... dead...dead... burn them... i didnt know." Seth stopped in his tracks when he saw the mans entire body was on fire and he was just walking. He considered calling out to him but a crazed U.H was not what he needed right now. Seth back away and then ran with a stealth he did not know he was capable of.

Alex nodded. "Same here, I get loud when I'm drunk, and me being loud means some people might go deaf." she grinned half hazardly before getting the drinks.
Cat turned so that she could lean back against teh bar, her elbows propped on the counter. This caused the jacket she was wearing to come up a bit and reveal the cut up jeans.
"The hell Cat!? You meet a guy finally?" Alex asked, pointing to her pants.
Cat's face was red as she turned, out of embarassment mostly. "No!....I got in a fight with a UH from HEC. Crazing feline woman."
Alex stiffled a laugh at her friends reaction before handing Tori a glass of Apple Cider. "I'll be right back with something for you. Those things look like they'll fall off." She walked into the back room.
Cat mumbled something before leaning over teh bar and getting herself a shot of whiskey. SItting back down she looked at Tori. "Is is that bad?" she asked.
