Well, not technically true. I was able to go in at midnight and get mine. So technically it wasn't Sunday. :3

I still don't have a Wii to play it on, though. xD

Then wouldn't it be an older version, since you ordered it months in advance?

My birthday is on the 25th, so I'm getting it then.

So yeah...been playing it. Graphics aren't much better, but that is not surprising. Really I'm gonna have to say that the first is still the best.

Yup yup. I pre-ordered mine and went in at midnight to get it. It's going to be sold out for quite some time so good luck to those waiting to buy it. xD

And the graphics are what I go for, mainly. They are /way/ better than the first one. I remember when I used to think N64 graphics were /so/ awesome and now this. I bet if this had come out instead of the N64 my head would have exploded. xD

Giga Bowser is OOGLAY.

Still don't have a Wii yet. DD: I'm going to try and get one tomorrow but the store is only getting a shipment of /3/ systems. ONLY THREE. That's so horrible! Why only three when so many people want them?

I don't see what the big deal about you guys 'fighting' over whether or not the first through the last is better. It makes no difference to me. They seem the same except for graphics, new items and features... etc. Blah blah.

To argue over which version of super smash brothers is better, can't be done. 1 they are made at different times. & 2. One's opinion would influence their decision on which is better.

Obviously it can be done as it has been done.

I am liking the final attack move with the floaty thing...thats pretty fun. Other than that there isn't much new exciting stuff. Zero-suit Samus was interesting. The difficulty of bots is much higher than previous games. But yeh...not particularly exciting.

My issue is that I have no money and as such, cannot buy either SSBB or a Wii to play it on.

The AI in the original super smash brothers was terrible. I could beat 3 level 9 computers on a team with a maximum handicap. (Note that I only managed to do that once, and I pretty much made them kill themselves until one was completely eliminated. Saffron City 3nodding )

If we argued simply on quality, not sentimental value or anything like that, Brawl is tons better than the first. the graphics are obviously leaps and bounds better, the sound in phantasmagorical (so many awesome tracks!!), gameplay has been vastly improved upon, more characters, more stages, more balance, online smashing, map editor, saved replays, awesome single player story mode, co-op, more items, more strategy, more fun!

just because something is the original, doesn't make it the best. brawl has everything the first had and more.

I can disagree with that. I like the original Roller Coaster Tycoons compared to the new 3D like ones. o___-

And old DOS games like Storybook Weaver. xD

But I can't wait to play Brawl. D:
