Does anyone know if they have plans to release the game in the US?

I believe they are. Only a rumor, but a reputable one at least.
If your talking about the ps2 one, then yeah....I heard it should be out by Christmas. Though if you want an exact date, just look somewhere....like gamefaqs or somethin....

No idea if they're coming up with a PC release? I've no intention of buying one of the accursed game consols, least of which a PS2.

Hmm, I'll watch it when it airs over here in America. That's my best bet, there's so much talk about it, I need to check out another mecha anime anyway.

Samurai 7 if you don't mind the mecha mostly being the enemy and the over-the-top abilities of the Samurai...

Soukyo no Fafner (I might have that wrong, but the translation is Dead Aggressor Fafnir) is not half bad, but I let it fall by the wayside as I got caught back up with Monster and my daily life got busier.

I doubt it, most anime games are on ps2 these days. What happened to the times where we could play FF on our beloved computers? crying

Bah humbug. There's a reason I like XBox. However much people may hate the system, the corperation, the controls, it's still owned by Microsoft and any game produced by them will practically be garanteed to hit the PC market within a year. Mind you, this is all theory, I've yet to see a game for the XBox that I liked.
DAMN YOU SONY!

I used www.thaigaming.net for all of my GBA stuff, but then the password and username I was using got banned cause it was used by too many people. Its still a good site, though it hasnt been updated with many recent games sad

The sales generated by the computer market weren't enough to justify the expenses of porting it to the PC, I guess. After all, when you develop for a console you'll potentially be selling copies of that game for a few years whereas a PC will generate some initial sales (not incredibly many though, since a lot of pc exclusive gamers are snobs who refuse to play games availible on consoles) also, porting means that you've gotta take a game designed to work on only one set of specs and adapt it to fairly wide range of specs... sometimes more money than its worth.

And when you've got a product that enough people want, you can make them come to you.
