Octavian sat and watched the view screens in his ship Everything of Nothing. Currently, they needed to stop for supplies so they were stopping at a secret bunker. While various people went to the bunker and other's scouted, he sat at the control seat in his ship. He hoped to get off soon. That shipment of Spice he had gotten his hands on had cost a fortune. It would be well worth it once he sold it. But, seeing as no one in the forest; espcially the elves, would buy it.

Now he watched 5 view screens which were showing different cameras from scout members. He saw the Srik and the elf. A wolven with a pup. And various elf settlements. He sighed. Nothing for now. Suddenly the radar started beeping, and a roar was heard. View screens identified it as a Chronos Flagship. "Oh no..." said Octavian to himself, ready to call all the men back. He stopped himself. Chronos was destroyed. An intact Chronos flagship would mean a Chronos Gem. Those would not only sell for an unbelievable amount, it could also be used to build a base. It would make all this much easier. Or... Just talk that flagship. It could easily serve as a base. Octavian clicked a button. "Send several stealth probes to investigate that ship. I want to know it's crew and cargo."

Octavian scanned the ship's lifelines. The scan went suddenly from empty to full. Octavian raised an eyebrow at the odd life signs of the ship. Before it seemed to have hardly anything; now it suddenly looked like a termite nest. Even though it was shown to be empty for a meer second, he'd still send in the probes. He scaned the controls. A button caught his eye. "F**K! Oh s**t..... Get everything ready for a quick escape at any moment! We've been spotted!" he said into a mic. Everyone out in the field and in the ship got the message. People seemed to start moving around faster. He retreated back into his mind, staring into the distance, while subconciously looking at the screens. How could he have not put on the cloaking. If his crew died, he'd kill everyone on that bloody ship, then himself for that idiotic mistake.

{FYI, cocentrated aniseed smells extremly bad(and it does to dogs what catnip does to cats), even worse for those with a strong sense of smell, and ether knocks people out.}

A knife was held to KC's throat and a gun to the wolf's head. "Wolfen & pup captured." said one of the men behind both the canines heads. The voice paused as if listening to someone speak. "Alright." said the same voice as before. "Come with us."

Two men began to put blindfolds over KC & Surika, then they took out from an airtight container, two pads of clothe, which smelled of concentrated aniseed and ether. The two pads were put on the prisiner's noses, causing the two to faint quiet peacfully. "Oof they're heavy." said one of the people who carried the two away.

Octavian sat, unarmed, on a stool in the hold of the Everything with KC in a chair on the other side of the small room, with Surika at her side. They were all alone. He saw their face's begin to twitch and eyes blinking a bit. "Wakey Wakey, eggs & bacey. How are you two feeling?" asked Octavian.

Sek watched lifesigns scramble on his monitor after he'd activated the dummy lifesigns. Keying up a program on the advanced City-tech computer, the massive aircraft slowly faced the smaller Everything. Flipping on a com, he blasted an override code, hailing frequencies be damned, they would hear him!

"This is Sek, acting ruler of the City of Skies, Chronos. I demand that you surrender to the Dauntless now, before your pirate ship is blown to pieces!" Sek snarled into the mic. It was a bluff, but nobody else knew that, and it was doubtful anyone could do any damage to the monstrous flagship, and City leaders only rode in the most powerful and impervious vehicles. The Dauntless was like a battleship staring down a patrol boat (the Everything, The dauntless is really big...) Sek was also afraid that people wouldn't believe he was still alive either, since he was inside the city when it fell.

The covered bridge glowed an orange of attack mode. Chronos was one of the nastiest Cities to cross, not even Pandora's famous shields had been able to block the retaliation fire from the Chronos Armada, even though both sides were decimated in the battle to avenge the fallen City.
