Personality: She is quite insane and continuously hunts for food. She tends to stay away from crocs mainly because she doesn't like their tough hide. But everything else is fair game. Her favorite meal? Pregnant lionesses. Beware!

Winning Entry: It has been days since I last had a decent meal of wildebeest and I am starving, although, I am always hungry. Nothing seems to sate my ravenous appetite; at least not for long. I see the fleet antelope run by my part of the lake, but the crocodiles have begun to invade and have taken my meals. I should punish them for it but… their hides are more than I can stand. So I have chosen to, instead, take up residence on another frequented side of the lake.
And it is here that I plan to catch my meal. It is others of my race that frequent this area – although they do not swim as well as I. The cubs look oh-so delicious. Ahh… and their tender muscles are still learning the fine maneuvers of hunting and pouncing. I can show them how to pounce… Heh, oh yes I could show them, first hand. Oh, the large males might be chewy, but they would still be a fine feast for me to dine on for days.
But no, the females… yes, those huntresses would be best meal. They always put up a good fight. Oh the memories… how wonderful it is to taste their warm blood and feel their heart slowly die along with their struggling, their pulse weakening as they drown of water and pain… Mm, such a delicious memory. If only I can get a meal like that again, oh! It would be pure heaven indeed.
Ah, but wait! Something is coming closer; I should hide myself as the crocodiles do… It if works so well for them, why not me?
Mmm… a female and… oh! She’s heavy with cub – or perhaps a few… Yes, she is definitely big enough to be carrying two, perhaps three. Oh… how savory that would be, plump and juicy… and those unborn cubs would be better than zebras. She must be ready to bring them into the world soon – ah, I can almost taste their savory meat now, their unused organs, so sweet!
Just thinking about it, it makes my head swim. And I can feel it – my hunting instinct is taking over. My vision is turning red and as she approaches the water for a drink... and…
I remember nothing afterwards. Nothing until after the water is red with fresh blood and the crocodiles are attempting to steal my kill. But they do not dare come close – I figure the madness in my crimson eyes is enough to keep them at bay. And to the horror of the pride nearby, I drag up my fresh kill, the carcass of their family, and rip open her abdomen to feast on what would have been new members of their pride. The looks in their eyes, priceless. They can do nothing to me, for I can kill them before they could harm me. And they know it; I relish in that power over them.
This is truly a banquet any predator would kill for. And I will lie in wait to do so again. Nothing tastes better than the sweet meat of a lioness heavy with cubs. Nothing.

Personality: Crescendo is constantly composing music. He loves to create new songs. He cannot easily say his emotions, but can freely express them through songs. Many times he can be heard humming a tune; probably his latest symphony.
History: As a cub, Crescendo enjoying being off by himself, making music. Instead of playing with his sibling and doing what 'normal' lion cubs are supposed to do, he distanced himself in order to put his mind at ease from all the notes that floated within in head. Most considered him a loner, almost an outcast by his own decision and thus no one bothered him after a time. Nothing a lion could say would make him play or hunt with them. Crescendo found no need to eat as often as them. Music was his source of nourishment.
Eventually when he came to be a young adolescent, his parents allowed him to roam as he pleased. They knew keeping him with them was doing nothing but causing him inner grief, restraining him from composing. So once on his own, the black and white lion become a traveling musician of sorts. He would travel to different prides, accept their hospitality and return the favor with grand songs. The songs he gave them were a mix of hunting songs, heroic tales put to melodies, and others were of his own creativity. So he became known for his compositions and most welcomed by families across the savanna.

Personality: Tiaq is a very sweet lion, a bit more petite than other adult dragons. She loves making friends and snuggling with friends, and playing. She acts very much like a kitten, loving nothing more than receiving the attention she craves. And she knows how to pout, beware.
History: Tiaq used to be a pygmy dragon, who lives with an elf. An elf that doesn't wield magic very well. And with that comes some mishaps. And Tiaq being turned into a lion is one of them.
