Ambrosia's lips seemed to clench together as she noticed Hector but she smiled kindly and nodded in agree moment before she looked at Kia, as if to have her approve.

Kia smiled, "Well I'm not quite ready for the beach yet. Let me get my stuff put away and grab a swim suit. I can meet you two out there, I actually want to swim." she finished nodding.

Ambrosia blushed slightly and became nervous at the idea of going alone without Kia but she didn't want to be rude so she stood up and smiled. She was actually wearing her bikini under her clothes, as Mrs. Eggleton had insisted. She was beginning to wonder if her foster mother could see the future. Anyways, it would be silly to stay behind to get a swimsuit on. She stood there for a moment, unsure of what to do. Her heartbeat quickened and she felt very anxious for some reason. She shook her head in her hand, shaking her nervousness away and smiled at Hector and forced out a few words that came out almost as a squeak. "Shall we, Hector?" She blushed, feeling like a moron.

"Okay, just let me get in my swimming trunks," he said, running to his room, closing the door behind him. Hector changed into his swimming shorts.

Ambrosia made her way to the door to wait for the other person coming with her. Her heart was beating loudly in her chest as she breathed heavily, trying to calm herself. She knew she was being dumb. Men aren't evil, get a grip. She found herself pacing and quickly stopped. Sitting down while waiting, she closed her eyes and breathed deeply. Finally she was calming down a little bit.

Ambrosia scanned him with her eyes and nodded. Soon, she was nodding with a polite smile. She turned on her heel and headed out the door. Slowing down, she walked next to Hector with a nice smile plastered onto her face. "So, how have you been?" She started with a shaking voice.

[[Sorry about the time I was gone. Went to St. Louis today. Back now though.]]
Kia nodded and hurried to her room making sure everything was situated right. Stopping she brushed her hand over the top of a picture of a little boy. Smiling she closed her eyes and then continued on throwing on a bikini and grabbing a towel and some sunscreen before she left walking out down the beach. She saw Hector and Ambrosia off in the distance a ways and smiled figuring she'd catch up eventually.

"Not much. It was easy to get here. My mom and dad didn't care. But I had to help myself. I had to get insurance, because their insurance didn't help me at all, as it usually should." Hector sighed. "It makes me wonder how I got on Earth. Did my parents take drugs and binge drink before I came here? Or did they start after I was born?" Hector kept on walking. "If they did, it may have been connected to their expectations of me..."

Despite her overwhelming fear of the male gender, she felt a pang of symathy for Hector. She knew what it was like to have crappy parents. Well, a crappy stepparent anyway. She listened to him continue and brought up the courage to ask. "What do they expect of you?".

The water licked the beach in comfortable and hypnotic movements as Kia picked up into a run. She gained ground and flew past Hector and Ambrosia dropping her shoes and stuff in a nearby shaded area and running up a jagged rock. "Well, well, well doesn't look bad out there." she said smiling and just looking over the horizon. "I think I'll need my sketchbook at sunset," she whispered to herself.

A one-man sailboat floated some distance off shore. The man in the boat looked at a photo, then looked to shore.
"Yup, this is the place."
Ren spied a nearby dock and sailed towards it. He tied up his tiny sailboat and walked out to the beach.
"Hope I'm not late for anything. The winds were just plain horrible out there."

Peering out towards the dock Kia could see a one-man sailboat sitting there and a familiar figure walking up the beach. Calling back to Ambrosia and Hector saying, "Ren is here!" Climbing down from the rock she ran towards Ren happily yelling out, "Better start running before I get there because you never gave me back my sailboat charm!!!"

"I told you already, a seagull ate it! So Kia, what goes on here?"
Ren stepped off of the dock and fixed his black bandanna.
"I would've been here sooner but a black cat crossed me. Anyway, you said in your letter Evan was going to be here, I guess that's him down there? Hey, who's that he's with? Never saw her at the school."
