I personally didn't like Brad Pitt as Louis....the big masculine hulkiness kinda ruined it for me. Louis is supposed to be way prettier! Currently reading: (books) Christianity: Some non-christian appraisals Prince of Wolves Currently reading: (manga) Spirit of the Sun Currently watching: (anime) Yugioh Duel Monsters

hehe...yeah Lestat was aswome. im still confussed as to how "everything had gone to plan".funny thing is that only happens in the movie. in the book what happens (spoiler) the boy who is doing the interview asked louis to turn him into a vampire. but louie kinda refuesd in a weird way. louis does bit the boy and dirnk his blood but only enough for him to pass out. come morining the boy wakes up and realized that he was still human. so he um writes down where to find Lestat if he is still alive. see louis had um left a message on the recorder for the boy when he woke up. it was the last place he had see lestat and leaves a discription not an address.
hmm...well anyways i believe Anne Rice wrote a serices of vampire books. But from what i've heard the older ones are better the then newer ones becasue once her husband died she just didn't have the will to write anymore. the newer ones really don't have any reall meaning to them let alone any spirit in them.

I'm probably going to get hell for this but...
::keels over from the Anne Rice gushing::
Sorry, but her purple prose was enough to make me want to reach through the book and shake her. We don't need five pages describing the texture of a door and the doorknob. Kirsten Dunst made an interesting vampire in the movie at least, although Tom Cruise was a mediocre Lestat. If you're into vampire porn, well there is Laura K. Hamilton. Anne Rice's sister (I think her last name is Bouchard), writes werewolf books. Again, full of purple prose.
Ahem, now that I am brandishing the fire extinguisher to keep back the flames, I can state what I am reading. Book-The Wood Wife by Terri Windling Manga- Just finished reading Nana Volume 9. Still want to smack some sense into Hachi.

Dont eat me...but I reccomend Hellsing. That is, if you can stand all of the gore and the language is sometimes..too graphic. It also potrays multiple religions.... Blood, gore, vampyres,Crazy vaticans, and much more. Oh my! Now thats just a manga.
Eh, I just finished To Kill A Mockingbird. I had to read it for school. Its a pretty good book. Interesting how it potrayed the time of the Great Depression and human nature.

I've been reading xxxHolic, Ranma and Case Closed. I'm yet to get my hands on the rest of Hellsing, Beserk and Psycho.
As for books, I'm reading The Devil Wears Prada. Not bad, actually. A helluva lot better than the movie! I still prefer Murakami's works. Freaky, but it makes you think.
Watching: The very first Goku vs Vegeta fight. Fourth time running. Uncut version. I WILL NEVER TIRE OF THE ANIMATION! That fight was better animated than any other. Either that, or I'm more Vegeta-obsessed than I let on... stare
