Antoinette smiled at the boy, and got off work. She went into the back room, and undid her apron. Her wings instantly burst into life. She cursed and forced them to lie down again. She glanced around, making sure nobody saw. She could pretend they were fake, but when they fluttered as much as hers did, people get curious and want to know what technology went into it and how a girl who worked at a Starbucks could afford them. She grabbed herself a hot cocoa, and began to leave.

LordOfTheAsylum Jack sipped his coffee, but cringed at the heat and set it down, sliding it away. He reached up a hand and idly brushed the hair from his face- a habit he was constantly doing. Suddenly he felt eyes on him. That was unusual; he usually stayed off the radar and out of people’s sight. Jack looked up before he could stop himself. He caught the eye of a young girl. She looked like the type of girl you would see submerged in a group of people, laughing and having a great time fitting in with everybody. Outgoing, fun, hyper. The opposite of Jack. And yet, as he caught her light eyes, he couldn’t help but smile, albeit a shy and slight smile. He looked away quickly, grabbing his coffee again and taking a sip despite the heat. Sithis felt his way through the dark alleyway, his stomach churning with each step. Maybe it was the running from Paulie's men, or maybe he was just getting sick. Either way, he collapsed in the alley, with nobody around to help him.

Durban59 Sithis felt his way through the dark alleyway, his stomach churning with each step. Maybe it was the running from Paulie's men, or maybe he was just getting sick. Either way, he collapsed in the alley, with nobody around to help him.

Sithis tried to get himself back up, and he felt like he was going to puke at any moment. "No, I need to be going now. I have to get away..." He said to himself as he tried to get up again.

Sithis shook his head, as he finally threw up what appeared to be black blood. "No, no time for rest." He said to her. Then almost instantly, his eyes widened with fear. "Whoo....who are you?" He whispered to himself before collapsing yet again.

Sithis looked to her, and kinda smiled a bit. " A neko, huh? Better then this Half breed." He said to her. He looked to his hand, and he felt his Dark Tendrils coming out of his back, taking the form of the usual dark snakes.

Sithis felt that he himself was also in a strange trance. But a horrid memory brought him back to reality. "Well, I'm feeling a little better now, thank you for the help." He said as he began to walk away.

Sithis only placed his hand on nhers, and looked to her with a pitiful look in his eyes. "Please, if you wish to live, you'll let me get away." He said in a quiet voice, with tears coming out of his eyes.

After Sithis realized this was getting nowhere, he sighed, and gave in. "All right, you can help. But after that, i'm gone." He said to her.
