 Lenore gave a small squeak of surprise as Leilani leaped up and gave her a big bear hug. Yet she couldn't help but giving a small smile against his tan shoulder. She returned Leilani's grin in equal measure, and at his comment about her handiwork, she made a face as she said grinning,"Thankies...?" She tilted her head, her violet eyes watching curiously as he gathered himself some new materials. Then she watched closely as he continued to show her how to make the grass necklace once more, her brow slightly furowed in concentration as she tried to copy his steps. At his words, she laughed, as she said,"I hope so.", but was she glad that he had so much faith in her. After a few long minutes of extreme concentration and slight frustration, she heard up her end product happily and exclaiming,"All done!". Well, it wasn't exactly what one would call perfect, but at least it sort of looked like a necklace with little bulks of grass where she had either messed up or braided too loosely.

The perky pala would die before giving up on Lenore. He hated when people gave up on others and was sure his faith would be rewarded. He didn't want to make her feel like he was breathing down her neck so he did his own thing while occasionally throwing a glance in her direction. At her exclamation he casually pranced over to her again, though he was only about half a foot away. Folding his hands behind his back he examined the item with a thoughtful scowl. It didn't last long and was soon replaced with a cheery grin and a thumbs up. "Tres magnifique!" He exclaimed, mimicking a phrase he'd heard on tv which he presumed meant something along the lines of very good.
"Soon you'll be as good as me," He sighed, placing a hand to his brow as in a dramatic fashion. "You'll put me out of business soon!" His eyes wandered up to the sun which had risen considerably since he'd first got out there. The summer heat was becoming noticeable too. He ran his fingers across his brow as if wiping away sweat. "How does a break sound?" He asked cheerily. "I could go for some lemonade right about now."

A big grin spread on the little pala's face as Leilani praised her. Her violet eyes sparkled happily as she couldn't help but show a bit more pride on her little masterpiece even though that she knew that it was not nearly as good as the brown pala's. But still, it was pretty good for just her second try, yush? She gave a stout little nod of approval to herself as she pondered what 'tres magnifique!' meant. It felt outland-ish...well, of course it was foreign, she was pretty sure that it wasn't English, and definitely not Kunkunese...was it French? German? Spanish? She guessed that she might as well ask Lady later...
Lenore blinked, as he spoke again and giggled,"Of course I won't. I am not nearly as good at you, I still need lots and lots of practice." She can a little nod and paused,"And anyways, we can be business partners~" She smiled, even though she didn't really know what business partners meant, but she infered that it had something to do with friends working together for a business. At the mention of a break and lemonade, she brightened as she noticed slightly that the sun was pretty high in the sky and the air hotter. "Okie-dokeys!" Lemonade, that sounded yummy. She had only tasted it once, but it was berry good...though it was a bit sour. Of course putting lots of sugar in it made it considerably sweeter.

"Practice makes perfect," He offered her a playful wink. "Business partners, hm?" He laughed jovially, entertaining the thought. "Not a bad idea there, deary~" He twirled around energetically and perkily began hopping towards the shop they were situated behind. He thought it had things like beverages within but honestly he wasn't all that sure. He's only visited it a few times prior and he'd only been inside for a few minutes at a time.
With a wave of his hands he ushered her to hurry up and then he quickly clambered up the back door to turn the handle that loomed far above his head. Turning the cool knob he clung to the handle as the door slowly slid open and then promptly dropped down with a grin. "Ladies first," He bowed politely with on hand beckoning towards the cool inside of the shop. He could already feel the AC on his fur.

Lenore giggled and hopped happily after the other pala. She herself had been only once side the shop before since Lady had won her, and that time was but a few minutes which she spent most of it gazing around curiously and amazed at how many people it could hold at once. It had seemed to be filled to the brim with people, but of course that might have been only because of the event held...and anyways, there would probably be less people this time around since though the sun was pretty high up in the sky, there shouldn't be a lot of people around...
She hurried up a bit since she had been standing there stationary for a few moments thinking up the number of people in the shop, and caught up with Leilani. As the door opened, a gust of cool air brushed against her fur and she sighed relaxingly. She stepped into the shop, it felt so good to be in the cool after sitting under the hot scorching sun. She beamed as she said,"Thank you~"

"My pleasure," He chirped happily, quickly disappearing inside after her. The shop always had a musty smell, but it was pleasant. It was relatively quiet as well. His hooves clicked on the floor as he energetically galloped across the floor. He turned a corner and nearly skidded into the legs of a large bipedal creature - aka a human. He put his small paws out in front of him and grabbed hold of the woman's socks to right himself, peering up at her with apologetic yet curious eyes. It was none other then his human companion herself! A smile spread across his face as he waved at her a little.
"C'mon Leilani, it's time to go." She said, casting a brief glance to Lenor and offering a smile. "Aww c'mon," He protested, pouting playfully and crossing his arms across his chest. "Bo buts! You said you'd help me with chores today and I'm holdin' it to you." The human would not be swayed. Leilani, defeated, sulkily turned to Lenore. His face brightened a moment later. "Well looks like I have to go," He sighed, though happily sprinted forwards and collected the young one in a big hug before darting back into place at his owner's feet. The woman turned to leave and Leilani hopped onto her shoe - which was usually his ride.
Turning around he offered Lenore a big wave, a blew a playful goodbye kiss. "Let's meet again, 'kay?" He called out and then he and the woman disappeared out the door.

Lenore walked cautiously into the shop, following the brown pala. It was pleasantly cool as well as quiet, after all, it was still pretty early on in the day. Shafts of sunlight came through the window panes, showing tiny dust particles floating about in the air. Eh? She blinked. Having been a bit pre-occupied with the shop, she had neglected looking at its occupants. Since it was relatively quiet, she hadn't bothered to look around for other living beings since she didn't have any reason to fear them with such a small number. It was not until now that she realized Leilani had bumped into a human. She tilted her head curiously, that was his human companion, right? She was rather tall, towering over the little palas, but she looked nice.
Awwww...he was leaving...Well, she probably would have to go around this time as well, her human companion was probably already awake by this time and wondering where she had went. It wouldn't be good to get her too worried. She smiled and even let a little giggle at the blowaway kiss,"Kay, see ya soon~" She waved as he disappeared out the door, riding on the woman's shoe. After a few moments, she smiled happily and headed out of the door herself, back home to no doubt her worried owner was searching all over the place for her.
